Hmm, I must be a super hardcore PvE player then...

(Or maybe it's early in the event and the bracket will look very different at the end)

I have no idea matey but I think you could be? I mean you said you sometimes play 100 matches in PvP? That seems pretty super hardcore to me! But...fish, etc, Yadda Yadda.

Taking quite the liberties with that math I see, we must be playing a different game.

Listen, I'm not trying to start a fight or something. I think we're just not understanding each other.

You said you do (or did?) 25 matches for 700 points. I said that number of points per match seems low (700/25=28). You said that actually you usually see 50 point matches. If you do 25 50 point matches, that gets you to 1200. Then you posted a screenshot of you at 966 points.

So what am I missing? I am legitimately trying to understand your play style, and legitimately not understanding it. I'm asking what you do.

Is playing over 10 years casual?

Is having more 550s than the average person has characters casual?

Is spending copious amounts of money casual?

Is playing hundreds (plural) of PVP matches every event casual?

Is spending more time posting on a message board about the game than a majority of the players spend playing the actual game casual?

Is carrying vendettas and blood feuds against certain players casual?

Is begging for nerfs until you’re blue in the face casual?

    Who’s to say?!

I mean maybe only T10 players can be considered “hardcore”, but as a person who frequently places T3 and often T1 in PVE, I only spend like 20 minutes a day on PVE total (opening clears and closing grind). So the hardcore actually spend less time on the game funny enough (using that silly definition). So… yeah. Something something fish.

how can you end top place in pve when you only play 20 mins a day if this is true then the game must really be dead

i myself can no longer really see playing the game maybe its my gallstones talking (surgery sometime in july) but just find game lost its fun

would ir really kill the game (not sure if something like this could even be program)

the season vault... if you miss 3 season vaults ascended reward you get a token to a shop that gives you 1 for free

3 stikes you earn a reward

As many as 3 strikes? You sure you can wait that long?

You HAVE to only play 20 of pve to get top placement, has nothing to do with the game being dead or not though. It's just how a speed competition works.

walk me though this how can you play 30 mins a day tops and take first place in pve

unless you have a team that wins round 0 every time i cant see this happening

this is what less then 7 mins playing 36 rounds?

If I'm trying to place well, PvE takes me 35-40 mins (20 mins-ish opening and 15-20 closing depending on sub). I wait for a flip before I play. I finished Operation Spider Silk in 8th but that's shorter as only one wave node per day, no repeatedly required character node and only 2 easy nodes. Saved me about 6 or so minutes overall. The teams are all saved so switching is easy.

I normally use Grocket/Juggs/Polaris (all ascended in the 470s) for the pick 3 nodes, Grocket/Polaris for the pick 2, and the EyeM4Kang cheese team for the CN. There are faster teams than that but it requires little thinking. Some nodes might benefit from switching teams if they are anti-polaris but most of the time they die quickly if you target the right character.

    Hope that helps.

yes its more than possible. Between the AP supports, and power creep in new chars, zero-2 turn wins are common place. expecially in the Champion node and 5* node battles.

keep in mind. its the same accounts who are running boost week 550 combos in pvp or even faster combos like kangveil for special node siutations.

Shang Chi/3Namor with 2 black, 2 blue + supports, usually with after 1 or 2 turns, even against 550/652 teams
For pick 3, add Iron May 3

For easy nodes, Polaris, Grocket and Mantis, also 1 or 2 turns

Jugg / Rocket / any other for trivial nodes
Aunt May / 5* Emma / Thanos (or essential) for all other nodes except waves and the grind for CN and high health 5e
Your favorite away team for CN grinds
Krakoa is a must support for Emma. Then 80% 6 AP supports help as well.

That’ll work for most events. Wave nodes and some other factors can lengthen the process but not past 30-35 minutes total per day. A couple events can be done in under 20 minutes per day, and I’m just t5, so there are people that can do it a bit faster.

Slides shtick is wearing thin. Wants top resources from minimum playing. Doesn't work that way and he knows it. Imo, stop helping and let him walk.

Stop playing for placement. Make the progress rewards the purpose for investing time in PvE and you can play your way on your time. Any placement rewards just become a free gift.

If you compare the value of the placement rewards across the level groups, then you might become convinced that their not worth the head banging.

Just did my end clears for TaT 1st day - 13mins 40 seconds. I was also being attacked by a mosquito at the same time so that probably added a few seconds.

We are getting mosquito's in the new engine as NPC enemies?!?!?

What about one of dem arena style gameplays like you have in hearthstone, that's separate from the normal PVP so that the uh-uh whales can still dunk on the fish, where you're given 3 random 4* or 5* (depending on the bracket choice) and 3 random supports and each round you win you can choose to either reroll the supports or level them up.

I'm pretty sure others can come up with better additions but at least this will break the stagnation.
