Dev Update #4 - MPQ Unity Staggered Launch

It seems that wave node points are not applied to scores in pve right now which is why you can’t finish WtS in Unity. The points just stay on the node.
Also happens in DDQ but you don’t need the node points to clear progression.
We have two wave-filled pves coming up after the boss so I hope that they can fix this in the next couple days.

Yes. I also remember when Marvel Avengers Alliance on FB was going to revamp everything because Flash was being abandoned by FB. We were all assured that everything would be fine, the game was still thriving, and they had just updated their official forum website with a new look and they wouldn't have done that just to close down shop. The announcement that the game was going to close down permanently was announced just a few weeks later....
Hopefully this is just pointless rambling and reminiscing and not relevant to MPQ at all...
They really fudged it up when they poured all their resources into Avengers Alliance 2. I think that got repurposed into Marvel Strike Force coz it looks similar.
I remember how gutted I felt when the game's end was announced. I was just getting good at pvp, as in I had the cheesiest team on defense. The last character released was Adam Warlock and they just gave all the currency for free so we could play till our hearts' content until the final moments.

But it wasn't released without bugs. So that argument is moot.
And, yes, I still would make that argument. They kept saying they couldn't do things with the old engine, but they constantly could and they showed it. Ascension. Monetized Cover Swaps. Qandry. Taking away Qandry. New boss events.
Now, was it a pain for the devs to have the old engine? Probably. Did it make the game impossible to play? Definitely not.
There was no game play need to spend the amount of time and, apparently, money on it to come up with something with so many bugs and that only takes gameplay backwards, from what we are hearing.

X force deadpool and x force psylocke and the agent with hand of apocalypse to punish boon buster, I used to cackle doing pvp, more enjoyable than pvp on mpq for sure.

White suit Iron Fist was amazing before they nerfed him. A full team heal that also made your entire team immune to debuffs. Most of the time I didn't even need the heal, I would just immediately fire it off to get the debuff immunity.

Only for the end of a wave. Otherwise, he next enemy in the same wave would appear, then the CDs would continue.

If the enemies were all part of the same wave, the new enemies would come in and be hit by cascades, but if the wave ended the cascades would resolve and the new enemies would come in at full health. Also, any countdowns that do damage, like 2 star hawkeye or coulson, would resolve and do nothing and the new wave would come in at full health.

Same. It's always been super frustrating! Everything resolves, then the next enemies show up at full health.
I wonder if that's why certain players were always slightly faster in PvE (way back in the mists of time before turn0 stuff).

Here's another fun weirdness involving thigs being spammed ... I just launched game. Get a popup saying I lost 390pts in current PvP. Since I had less than 800, that seemed unusually high, but i clicked past. THen got a second popup re: current PvP, saying I had gained 81pts on defense. OK ... then noticed ... all the records are the same ...
Then another one ...
... and another ...
... and another ...
This could go on for awhile....
EDIT ... there were 5 more after that ... 10 total regarding one event.

And my Season Pass has just been reset to day 1On my Steam, it is the box that was reset tot he top, but all of the items had a "checkmark" in them. Scrolled down, and I'm still working on earning my #74+ like yesterday.
Comment #1 on The Build. Used 3Deadpool and 4America (seperately) to earn "pride token", didn't get a reward. I know normally that usually "resets" around 130pm EST, but it's almost 6pm EST and still didn't register.
Comment #2. Using 5JuggerDuck in PVE, it's showing 4InvisibleWoman icons for his matches.

Yeah, it sucks. You claim the quest and then you can’t claim the rewards. Supposedly I guess you’ll get them later? I don’t know. I’ve had days of them go poof so I don’t bother with some.

I think the Match 20 reward was auto-collected? I ended up with more tokens from the Deadpool Daily than usual when I got the 20 black matches, so I think you no longer have to click through to receive them.
In other news, Scarlet Witch can now Shapeshift...

You're making so many assumptions here, I wouldn't even know where to begin. You have absolutely no idea where they want to take this game in the future and what it entails behind the scenes. None.
They rushed the release. That's all. That's the only problem here. Don't make up new ones.
