Thursday February 5th 01:00 - PVP [The Iron Offense - Peggy Carter (Iron Carter)] (New 5-Star in Placement Rewards)
This event is supposed to be running right now. I assume the dev team is aware and trying to get it up with the season.
That doesn’t mean it’s not worth asking about them….its not a big deal but the overall season and/or the PvP may run at a slightly different schedule due to the delay.
Note that CS would be no help in a situation like this. It’s unfortunate that so many hiccups occur lately, but the forum has historically been used by forumites to report most if not all recent instances of things not appearing on schedule.
EDIT: the PvP and season are up now. The PvP is off schedule by 1.5 hours because of the delay.

Responding to these kinds of questions is just good customer service! It's important to take care of your paying customers, or they'll stop spending money with your business.
Of course, everybody who's asking for this stuff is a (recent) paying customer, right? Nah, there's no way somebody who doesn't spend anything would ask for that kind of service!

We've almost all been here for a really long time. It's a little community. If I randomly showed up on the Discord one day and started asking for all the stuff I want, and tagging the devs in them, I imagine I'd be met with some snide remarks as well.
The forum is unpopulous because all the hardcore players moved to Line a decade ago and both previous sets of devs basically abandoned it. I'm not sure why anybody stuck around but personally I consider it a badge of honor!

None of the comments seemed very snide to be honest, your behaviour seems to have been described accurately especially as you have already previously declared that your motive for being here is to force the new Devs onto a social platform more to your liking.

Seems like the new season started 22.5hr earlier than previous timing. A little bogged but no biggy...
And the power numbers for 5* Torres seems to be fixed now that he's featured on the front page. Got the character rewards too, just not sure from whom nor if the amount is correct...

No, my reason being here is because I want to be able to report issues and communicate with the dev/community team as has been the norm for a decade. I have also been nothing but respectful for the devs, just posing questions. Not making demands, and certainly nothing deserving snide remarks.
Yes, I asked them to join the Discord, because it is a quicker way than a forum to signal issues and has the ability to go back and forward with questions, or even DMs.
The forum is better for other things such a repository for character info, calendars, etc.. Things that have been lacking.
If not for the dev presence, I wouldn't have joined here after many years, because the culture and discourse seems so toxic. You can tell how quickly I degraded to jaded from interacting with many of you. I will keep it civil, but I don't see myself sticking around after most of the issues have subsided.

Different platforms are good for different things, maybe the Devs will go to Discord and find it useful, up to them. At one point there was a repetitive troll here - guess what - they are a regular contributor on Reddit now!
No offence intended but I think it is fairly obvious you came here with fully entrenched opinions about the Forum and have acted accordingly in a somewhat high handed and dismissive manner. Hey, it happens - we are all guilty of stereotyping stuff. But possibly that hasn't helped, if you already think we are pond scum then we were never starting from an even playing field, lol!
As far as I know the likes of IceXI on 505 side still prefer Discord so you might be able to catch them there?
Reporting stuff is good and helpful but aggressive use of the @ function probably isn't necessary? Well no doubt a Mod would let you know if that is the case.

These preconceived notions you accuse me of are the preconceived notions I see in so many posts here about players on Line, on Discord, on Reddit. And of playstyles that are not your own. So yes, you do make a point about being guilty about stereotyping stuff.
The use of @ is because they keep hopping from thread to thread to respond to the same issue, and is the way to address someone directly. It is the same way as people communicate on Line, on Reddit, on the Discord, even here as we quote back-and-forth. That's also an @. Using someone's name to talk to them directly is just the norm.
As for moderation, I haven't seen any, but I'm sure Migz as a forum administrator would request a change if she feels the need for it.

You do realise that many of the people here are also on those other sites too, right? I dunno where this tribal mentality comes from. Personally I don't care where people go but you were down on the forum, you said so! Hey, it's OK! All I can tell you is that being a regular here has netted me two Infinity Stones for free, not bad for a toxic swamp!
We have two dedicated non Dev Moderators @Scofie and @Alfje17 who you can address issues to about the Forum including any "toxic" behaviour, they will also sometimes refer to S0kun if he can help especially with customer service stuff and of course the new Devs are keeping us in the loop. All in all, not bad at all.

Honestly, for me, it’s the ‘thank you’ at the end of each of your posts that I find most tonally off. It just comes off as passive aggressive.
It often doesn’t track from the comments you’ve left above it and comes across kind of like ‘my word is final’. Not sure if others would agree, but that’s how it comes across to me.

The plan for the game is that every PvP and PvE and the season all start a day/24 hours earlier than they did before. This should include bosses and also will mean they end 24 hours earlier.
This is being done so that the big things that all have launched on Thursday in the US are launched on Wed. Because Thursday in the US is Friday for the devs and they need an extra day.

@TheMigz Major game bug. How to recreate:
Daily Rear Guard quests showed up about 10 hours early.- Did the two daily quests. Win 15 missions with 3* Strange and make 25 Strike Tiles
- Complete them
- Claim the first level reward in Season Pass
- Game locks up each time I go into my roster screen
Please help

Stepping outside an echo chamber after living in it for years is pretty traumatic. When you're convinced that everyone shares all the same ideas and you're suddenly exposed to people who don't, it's really easy to just dismiss them as toxic haters.
