Lmao. Well, at least you are consistent???????
And they already do. It’s either Sam/Juggs or M’Baku/Namor. Especially in third slice.
But you assume correctly. Get rid of the 5* boosted. And that means no ascended 5* get the boost either. Take off supports.
(If you need help figuring out how to beat Sam/Juggs hit me up with a DM. I’ve got a few ideas. 😁😁😁😁)

I see a lot of that too. Luckily Sam/Juggernaut at 550 is terrible against 672s -- I can usually oneshot them, and occasionally they even lose to me on defense.

I have like 150 550s as of today, and I use almost all of them when they're boosted. When somebody like Cable is boosted, he's great. If the boosts went away, I would never use him for anything ever, because at 550 Juggernaut/Sam are better. My 150 550s would be worthless, because everybody's roster would be reduced to the two best characters and nobody else.

Supports aren't going away and neither are 5* weekly boosts. If these things aren't working for you now, maybe try to adapt!

Oh, I never said things weren’t working out for me. Once again you are assuming. This time wrongly, good sir.
I was stating my opinion on what I thought would fix PvP for everyone and not just for people that have max rosters that have forgotten what it’s like to not have all those 550s where you can just power through things.
Was thinking of the community and the game over all, not just myself. I’m not the only one that has put forth an opinion that the game is broken and out of wack.
BUT I’m soo very glad that you took the time to tell me all about your roster and how you do things and how easy it is for you.
    Thank you.

I'm so very glad you took the time to express your opinions!

I'm sure the devs will definitely take note, and get right on those incredibly well-informed, brand new requests for "the community and the game overall!"

No need to get snarky with people that have built high level rosters matey. They weren’t born with a silver spoon up their proverbial, they worked damned hard to compete and earn those covers! Or maybe their spending is the reason the game is even still running. They could have had a Ferrari, but instead they have paved the way for years of your gaming enjoyment, and are destitute besides a wall of 550s!

If it’s not entirely obvious my tongue is firmly in my cheek. But my point stands. Opinions vary, and no other opinion is less valid than others (unless you’re throwing a tantrum or trying to get banned?).
It just so happens that EBs opinion is posted on the forums more repeatedly than most, but at this point I consider him and institution and wouldn’t have it any other way 😂

    It's always the same thing.

"You don't understand what I'm going through because you're not a high level player! It's so easy for you!"

Well actually I have like a stupid huge roster and I've been playing for a million years and winning stuff forever.

"Ha, you don't understand because you're a mega whale who's out of touch with what us regular players go through!"

It's just a way to dismiss people's arguments because you don't or can't respond to them. Someday somebody will say that a player with a lvl500 m'Thor couldn't possibly understand the experience of someone with a lvl499.

I personally wouldn’t say the playing field is level at all when a boosted 1a5 can one shot a boosted 5* character.
But I’m not arguing with anyone. Especially as cynical and rude as you have been lately, man.
Now, let me go hit up some pvp and skip max level Juggs and Sam teams for a bit to find a good match. (And some 1a5 Widow and Hawkeye boosted teams.)

I strongly object to the idea that I've gotten more cynical or rude lately -- I'm just as cynical and rude today as I was 12 years ago.

If anything, you've got less rude.... 😁

Bot getting snarky. Not dismissing anything. Not hating on anyone. It’s great that you all have big rosters. Congratulations.
But at some point people separate themselves when their rosters get huge and they don’t think about the game the same as when they weren’t. I’ve been around long enough to know that. I have friends with max rosters and when I ask them questions they actually tell me to ask others because they are on a different level. It’s not hating. It’s stating facts. You and I don’t play or think about the game the same way. Maybe I will in the future. Idk.
The support system is way overpowered and is needing an overhaul. The t0 victories because of supports is out of control. Getting auto victorys because of supports and not a character’s natural abilities just seems wrong. Makes defense redundant.
And I see you giving your opinion on every topic and almost every post. Sometimes I agree. This time I don’t. Not really a big deal.

Fwiw my roster is basically the same size as yours. I only have 3 characters above level 500, and none of them are anywhere near 550.
You could argue the same for supports though, those that have taken the time to get them maxed will have a significant advantage. Isn’t that the whole point of them? And of leveling your roster?

Wait, what were we talking about? I’ve got wrapped up in this roster measuring contest for no reason I can fathom…

Edit: Oh, and passing things off as (disingenuous) compliments is still very clearly thinly veiled snark.

Yeah. The original point of the conversation has been lost. The game is out of wack and needs a reset. That’s all I was saying.
I personally don’t give people in 3* land advice because I’m not there and honestly don’t remember it. Because I’m way past that point.
It was great chit chatting with you all though.

Were you around during the dark ages when every single PvP fight against every team was Gambit/Thor, Okoye/Thor, or Okoye/Hulk? I was, and it was awful. The other characters may as well have not existed, because nobody ever used them for anything. I had them, and it didn't matter at all. New characters, even good ones, were dead on arrival.

I don't want to go back to that ever. If you enjoyed it, that's fine, but I don't think many people agree with you. Removing 5* boosts will send us back to that immediately. It looks like Shield Sim.

I don't like supports either and I hate turn0 wins. Unfortunately, they're a necessary evil right now. The problem is that the game is full of super strong passive abilities, and without free AP from supports, all the characters with active abilities are too slow to be worthwhile. Removing AP supports would be great, if they also removed all the overpowered passives, but otherwise you just end up with an all-passive metagame again, and huge swathes of characters go back to being useless.

Defense is always redundant and has always been redundant. Supports actually help with that a tiny bit.

A "character's natural abilities..." like I'm sorry, but this implies that the devs have any idea what they're doing when they design these guys. The weekly boosts and supports are crutches that currently compensate for the fact that the devs have no idea how to design balanced characters. If that changed, then sure, get rid of them. Until it does, we need those things.

Yes, I was around for “the dark ages”. But I was in the early development of my roster.
I’m not sure that the devs understand the game either, or they wouldn’t have implemented some of the things that they have.
I was just fine with supports in PVE and not PVP.
And I know enough that the devs are now frantically scrambling to keep higher level roster folk that spend money in the game due to the revenue drop. Hence the SCL redesign. Ascension. (I played the long game. I’m still under 200$ total spent on this game. Never hoarded. 3500 days in.)
But seriously. Thanks for chit chatting. I like a good spirited conversation. I follow the forums and the discord chat. I see what you and the other main people say. I just don’t feel like my opinion should always be given to every topic.
    Have a wonderful day, man.

There may be 15-16 Pve events, but we don’t see them all. It’s roughly the same MAYBE 8-10.

I actually do keep track of PvEs, and there are 16 that get played regularly (but not fully in a repeated loop, obviously). Going backwards from what we’ve just played:

    1. Venom Bomb
    2. Strange Sights
    3. Cosmic Chaos
    4. Lost in Time
    5. The Hunt
    6. Webbed Wonder
    7. Fight For Wakanda
    8. Meet Rocket & Groot
    9. Operation SpiderSilk
    10. Infinite Pursuit
    11. Unstable ISO
    12. Deadpool vs MPQ
    13. Simulator
    14. Honor Among Thieves
    15. Thick As Thieves (1-15 were in order with 2 boss events also included, going back to 9/22 for this event)
    16. Hearts of Darkness (back on 8/21, so there were 7 events previously listed that were replayed between 15 and 16)

So in general, we get almost 2 full months between repeated events. And the 3 events we don’t replay are ISO-8 Brothers and The Hulk one and Enemy of the State (all 3 are 7 day events I’m pretty sure).

You forgot Prodigal Sun, 7 day too, makes servers crash when devs try to start it , from what I heard

I can handle Prodigal Son but not The Hulk. Seven days for a 3* Hulk cover make me Smash!

I would much rather have it be local Milwaukee legend "The Milverine."
