New Character - Toni Ho (Rescue) 5*

Doesn't feel meta, obviously, but I feel like there's definitely a chance for repeater shenanigans similar to some of the CD spammers.

Pretty much have to bring someone, or some support, to fortify the tiles, right?

There’s only 1 snag to this Mr. bucket, Jubilee’s repeaters aren’t fortified, they’re locked…
I do think Ronan or 5star Agatha could be pretty interesting though. Particularly because part of their repeaters activating is that they duplicate!

Ms. Ho also works for AAPI month, still ongoing. Probably the intent?

There will be another 5 on 6/26, assuming everything happens like it (mostly) has for the past decade +, and could be the Official Pride Release.

FF releases 7/25 so presumably the (first? only?) tie in 5* character would be 7/24.

Mr Negative doesn't have a feeder. Matches the aapi theme.

I don't think there's a turn0 combo for new Rescue, and she's obviously hard-nerfed by m'Thor (but so is everyone who puts stuff on the board). I still think she can be pretty strong.

What about Gorr (not sure what he looks like ascended)?
At start of battle he creates 3 1-turn FORTIFIED repeaters (so her damage passive will trigger 3x on turn 2 and subsequent turns). He can add 3 more when he fires his Yellow AND if his repeaters are destroyed (MThor) he gains 2 Yellow per destroyed repeater letting him fire and add 3 more fortified to the board.

His own repeaters do damage every turn too so you double dip with her passive. It might melt teams fast.

According to the Marvel Wiki, she was on the US Avengers team with Red Hulk, aka Thadeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, the name sake of her affiliation despite not being a Thunderbolt (as @SaltnPeppa pointed out). And it's Thunderbolt month.

She was also part of the Daughter's of Liberty, a team evidently convened to investigate the death of Thunderbolt Ross at the apparent hands of Captain America.

How will her yellow work with locked repeater tiles from Jubilee? If her yellow repeater hits 0 will it move all those locked repeaters to 0? If so that could to al lot of damage. I can see that also working really well with Apocalypse especially if Toni’s repeater is lower and than Apoc. You could get close to 200k damage with 9 repeaters going off.

Overall a bit of a gimic but not super strong

Seems ok. I like that the powers are cheap but seems too complicated. Not quite as bad as miles but similar in that if they didn't try to do so much they'd be a lot better.

Blue - Other than crystal, not sure of any other 5s with a burst heal I care about. And then with the stun being random, this is way too bothersome. Especially on a 3-turn repeater. Ya she can speed it up, and other people sort of can too (ascended coulson, hobgoblin), but it's a whole lot of work for too many effects

Red - Another thing that's trying to do too much. It feels like they're just adding stuff to powers to make them weaker honestly.

Yellow - I like the insta-zero all repeater tiles, but why is there a (ridiculously weak) damage and resistance aspect too? Again, just feels like they make a character that's 80-90/100, and then water and gunk it down to 50-60 by adding in 5 more options and things, which allow them to make all the numbers worse.

I wouldn't drag him along just to do that, but if he ever gets buffed...

Forgot about supports -- Thanos Copter (which is in every fight) and Battleworld Map give you free repeaters. I'm not sure if there are any others.

They put a search bar on the supports page but it's useless. For instance Thanos copter doesn't come up when you search cause in the description it just calls it the cosmic cube tile. The only 2 that come up are the aforementioned Battleworld map and refreshment cart, cart just has a thing where it lowers a random repeater tile.
