Yeah, she's everywhere now. So, if you have the "answer" to her, feel free to post it.

Frankie is definitely not overpowered, in fact she's not even that good! Just bring 3* Deadpool with Black Widow Batons and Quantum Realm, plus 2 purple AP boosts, cast Megawhales, and you can win every fight before she even does anything!See, she's actually awful and definitely doesn't need to be nerfed. Case closed.
Do we know for sure that she's susceptible to Megawhales? I'm not willing to take that chance!
I laughed, but then thought about it... Megawhales doesn't actually instakill -- internally the game doesn't know how to do that.
What it really does is just some massive AoE, like 999999 or something.
So, it is possible that if she's got enough charged tiles out, her percentage based damage reduction would drop Megawhales to a survivable level, which is honestly hilarious.

Contrary to some beliefs, Shaw can indeed deal with Franky even with Immortal Hulk on the field. My recent match, though far from an ideal set up, showcased this clearly. My Shaw was at critically low health (nowhere near level 550 either), and my team was hobbled from the start due to a lack of health packs, resulting in two almost immediate KOs.
Despite this handicap and facing a fully championed team with Hulk's gamma support, Shaw successfully eliminated Franky. This highlights that Franky isn't the main obstacle; the true difficulty with this team still stems from Hulk and Moondragon, a combo that has been around for ages.
While Agatha would usually provide valuable stun and AOE to deal with MD once Franky is out of the way, my solo Shaw run was specifically to prove his effectiveness against Franky.
I watched the video.
It took you 3 minutes to win and your entire team except Shaw died.
Are you kidding me? All of my team had low health going into the match because I had no health packs......
Here, have a new one: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UoooKnkyw3tAe7xv5
Shaw, Chasm and Agatha defeating Immortal Hulk, Franky and Torch AND with them using the cheapest supports available in gamma, leapfrog and Fantasticar....

She's literally useless without charged tiles and he devours them all by turn two even when she's being ran with Jane. If you have him ascended and can get him to survive to turn 2.....he will kick many a Franky team.
He's not going to help in every lineup, I've tried him against Franky and JuggSam and he gets stomped but still.....he's worth considering against a lot of Franky/Jane lineups

I don't understand what you're trying to prove or why. Is the point that Nova is not any good because you can scrape out super slow wins against suboptimal setups?
I could bring Whales plus a bunch of purple AP and win too. That has nothing to do with whether the character is too strong.

I don't have him ascended. And I don't think everyone should HAVE TO have a 4* character that far along to counter someone so game breaking.

No I 1000% agree with you on that if you've seen any of my other posts you'll see I complain about that exact thing regularly 🤣

My point here is that Shaw can help you deal with Franky on a bunch of different teams.
We're talking about this because everyone's saying how broken Franky is and how we can actually beat her, right?
So, are you just trying to shoot down every idea out there? Since when is this a race? If I have to grind out wins against those tough 550-level meta teams to get points, then yeah, I'm gonna do it because I have to because the game is massively imbalanced and if you don't find ways to beat these whale-meta-teams with what you have then you may as well stick to story mode.
There's more than one way to play and have fun in this game. We don't need you belittling or putting down every poster/suggestion just because their team doesn't win on turn one

I think this character is way too good, and like, of course there are ways to beat characters that are way too good. When pre-nerf Chasm was running around, he had a group of defenders on here who'd say stuff like "well, I think he's fine. I can win fights against him sometimes, so he's not overpowered at all" and then they'd post some nonsense pile of jank that could win one fight in 3 hours and immediately lost 8000 points on defense and call that a counter.
This is exactly what you guys are doing here. There were plenty of ways to beat Chasm, and they ended up nerfing him anyway because he was busted and he made the game miserable. People did the same thing with the version of Sidewinder that boosted match damage by 4000%, and that was pointless too because they also killed him.
If your point here is just to say "here's how we can deal until they fix this disaster," I'm on board with that. That's not what's been happening though -- these posts are all "oh no, no problems here at all, just do x and you'll win easily!"

Yeah, I think we might need a category up from whales but what is there?!?! Maybe we could drop the Blob on her?
done!

No my posts are in the spirit of: "ok we have a tough new character, how do we beat her if we don't have all the meta staples?"
She's powerful yes, but loads of powerful characters can be countered with the right teams which is what I'm trying to show.
What I don't like are characters that are near impossible to counter unless you have a meta team all at 550. I actually LIKE beating these powerful teams with the roster I have because I think that's a huge part of the fun
I don't have a single 550 character so I'm showing that even with lower powered characters/teams, if you find the right formations you have a chance of climbing and getting some of the rewards you want (for me it's usually the command points or covers/shards that I aim for). I was number 3 on SHIELD before I got attacked by every 550 whale playing and I don't care about that, I play to have fun and win what I can with the roster that I have and I think others do too.
Yes there's obviously a shed load of characters that need balancing and I know you've seen my posts about all of that in other threads but for now, I want to see what we can do against her as she is because this is what we have to deal with and if history is anything to go by, the Devs frequently leave broken characters as they are. Even if she's later nerfed/rebalanced, there's still a truck load of characters and teams out there that aren't.

I think he was introduced during a period where I stopped playing. I came back to the game when Agatha was released by which point I think he'd already been nerfed. Can't remember who was released around the time I left but I had no maxed 5* characters when I stepped away but was fed up of getting beat by all these OP teams I didn't have.
I think he still needs a nerf though because of his turn-one stun and persistent AP reducing passive. Abilities like that are just too OP and give an immediate, unfair advantage. They're not balanced abilities and warp the entire gameplay experience away from being fun

I have an even better idea! (For those few people out there who listen to me) - Nova's black power drains up to 16 enemy AP! So simply start with 6 black from Tinkerer and fire it to drain the enemy AP so Nova can't fly.

Well, I played through a period of like a year where every single fight in every single PvP I played was either a seed team or 550 Chasm/Hulk. I play something like 100 fights in every event generally, and I'm on the low side of hardcore players.
That means I beat 550 Chasm/Hulk thousands of times (so it was fun hearing from players who said "oh he's not unbeatable so it's fine!"), with all sorts of different teams. It was pretty fun figuring out ways to win, for awhile! It rapidly became tedious. When there's a team that trivially beats everything, and requires highly specialized counters to beat it, that is not a fun metagame.
We're headed for that same point with Frankie/Hulk, and I'm not terribly happy to go back to it.

By the way, we need a pick-2 solution to Nova a lot more than a pick-3. Simulator is not that important

This isn't great, but you should be able to find a boosted guy every week who can turn0 her off support AP before she flies. After that you can murder Hulk pretty easily.
The problem will be when you're eligible to swap for her, and the entire game insta-550s her. It's a LOT harder to turn0 290k HP. Hopefully she gets dealt with before then.

I haven’t got any black covers for her yet, so not able to test…
It does also come with the restriction that your second pick has to be a villain, in order to equip Tinkerer, so already quite restrictive0 -
