I wonder if the types of teams you use matter. If you are using characters like Polaris (I do) who create / do a lot of board manipulation with their SAP stuff I suspect it adds a lot of lag and other things like over heating.
Today I did my initial clears on day 2 of Deadpool vs MPQ. I started with 100% battery and first did the deadpool daily matches then the Deadpoil vs MPQ matches. By the time I got to the 4 star required (5 and challenge were left) my phone battery was down to 60% and the phone was getting hot (1+ hr of playing due to lag). More importantly as I started 5 star required the game got REALLY laggy for me and the phone even hotter. This makes me think the less battery you have the worse the problem gets (lag + over heating).

Anyone using an iPhone 16? I haven't been forced to upgrade and really don't care if I ever upgrade but I know it is coming so curious how the experience is on an iPhone 16. Thanks!

Two items
1- wasn't getting this pop up last night when opening support tokens. I did receive the bonus shards, however. This is a screenshot from before I updated so you know the pop up I'm referring to.
2- not sure where we left off in the dumpster fire that's supports in pvp but my fantasticar isn't working in shield sim. Was working fine yesterday(I was updated then) and today it's busted.

Fantasticar is meant to be on list of Supports we can't use in PvP. Of course who actually knows?

The Game Booster app that Samsung put on my phone lets me limit the refresh rate in game to 48Hz. Since doing this my highest temperature has been about 104 Fahrenheit compared to 109 before.

Just go back to the old engine at this point. Unity was a terrible idea.

This update is brutal . Game is playing way slower, texts and banners on top of each other, sizing is all off, can't exit the game, but then it crashes.

The game lag was so bad, I actually had to turn off a few graphic-intensive features like "Character Effects", "Play Effects Once Per Match" and "Tile Physics" just to improve the experience. You can find these in the home page by tapping the gear icon on the top left of the screen or, if you're in the middle of a match, by hitting the Pause icon at the top center of the screen and selecting "Options." Doesn't do much, but it softens the blow a bit.
Some things I noticed with this update:
- The tiles are blank when you start a match. But they do load up the character icons/logos after all the tiles are neatly settled.
- In multi-enemy matches like "The Big Enchilada" in Deadpool Dailies (which has six enemies in one wave), one of the downed enemies stays visible in the lineup. Say the starting roster consists of two Sentinel Vanguards and one Sentinel Seeker. After you down the Seeker, the new enemy stepping in is Captain Marvel, but Seeker stays in the lineup even though it was just downed. The intended behavior would have been for Seeker to be erased from the lineup.
- Be very cautious with quick tapping. You may inadvertently go straight into a battle when you've yet to customize your roster. This has happened to me a couple times already, the first of which was with "Dat Required Character" from Deadpool Dailies. After tapping "Enter" a few times to get into the roster setup, the game strangely took me straight to the battlefield - I didn't even get a chance to review my roster, let alone change a character to allow them to slow-heal.

If I missed a post that banned tongue in cheek posts that mildly lampoon the devs I heartily apologize. My eyes are a little strained from the lag.

Took about 15 mins to complete deadpools daily. Ipad too hot to continue, battery dropped from 100% to 84%. Hour later, 10 pve battles took 20 mins (used to complete 50 wins in 30 mins). Had to close game again, iPad burning up, battery now 64%.
