My ascended Silk worked fine. But entrail's has 20-30 levels on mine.

She's really good! But being good is detrimental in a few of these fights, where if you kill the enemy you lose.

They could fix it by applying the "zero out all damage" thing from the tug of war puzzle gauntlet, but it'd break some of the other fights (like the one where it's really hard to win without killing Morbius).

It's also something that probably only affects a handful of players at this point, but it could affect more over time.

Puzzle Gauntlet is just a really complicated thing for them to design. Right now, the fights are either way too easy (almost one entire gauntlet is just "do you have Polaris -- ok, you win!") or way too random.

But also, some of the essential characters seem to be chosen at random, and Ascension actually creates big problems for a few of the fights (the ones where you lose if you kill the enemy before you do whatever thing).

I don't know what the right fix is for this. I suppose folks would like them to be more like the trivial ones and less like the random ones. I wish there was a way to make interesting fights that weren't totally random.

Imo they did a pretty good job with Quantum Daddy puzzles for anniversary

Are you talking about Quandary? Everybody HATED that!

(I didn't think it was that bad, but some of them were annoying and it was pretty repetitive. Also, seriously everyone else hated that thing.)

...For personally, Quandary is not bad... frankly that was fresh idea for this decaying game....
Except color shift thing!!! Lol That... is what everybody hating

The one on one nodes were much more difficult this time because I've ascended all of the required characters and kept killing the enemies before I could complete the puzzle.

Finally finished both with ascended Luke Cage with the low level AI support equipped. Took forever, but got the job done.

A Puzzle Ops refresh is on our post-Unity bucket list once we start to tackle refreshing our PVEs so this will definitely be on our radar to fix.

None. The problem was I kept killing them, not that they were hurting me.

If you meant using Luke cage, also none. His passive creating strong shield tiles every time they fire a power meant they were doing minimal damage. It was just a slog to wait for the AI support to create enough strike tiles to form a column and to have a special tiles in each corner that prowler would fortify.

Your Luke Cage must be higher level than mine. I ended up using Karnak with the AI support. It was a slog, but Karnak stayed alive.

Higher level but not much higher. Hmm. I guess I just got very unlucky.

I got both 1v1s on the 1st try. Some of it due to luck, esp the column of strikes.

The 4 corner one, I always retreat until Monica's repeater starts in one of the edge columns. When it does, it's virtually a guaranteed corner fortified tile which is one of the 2 hardest ones to get.

AI support is mandatory (way better than Chewie) because it too has a high chance of procing in a bottom corner (again I always retreat immediately if the bottom corner opposite her repeater is a TU) the long the match goes and Prowler will eventually fortify it.

So to sum up, retreat if Monica's repeater is not on an edge OR the the opposite edge corner is a TU. It will save you a lot of wasted time.

Well I finally beat the 4 fortified corner tiles with my advanced 3 4 star Storm.

4 corner fortified tiles with 4>5 Luke Cage is a slog because for some reasons, the AI kept matching away tiles on both ends.

The strike tile one even worst. Purely on luck I got through after several tries with Silk at 370. Had to wait till one column almost full with strikes, without teamups, and fire few times of blue power hoping the strikes will fill up the rest of the tiles in that column. By then my Silk is almost dead. Urg....

I ended up having to be three Polaris teamups to finish the strike tiles column.

Get that Silk ascended. I guess entrail is having trouble with theirs being too high, but mine works and the extra health comes in handy. You specifically don't want to add a lot of levels after that, so it should be easy to do without having to spend insane resources.

I still don't think this one is as annoying as some of the tug of war ones.

I don't mind the tug of war ones. You can at least influence that. This is just annoying. 🤣

Not sure about ascended Silk since she might do too much damage, but if you have her champed and not ascended it should be simple enough... slow, but simple.

    • Match her colors as often as possible, but don't cast any abilities if you don't need to.
    • Remove any team up tiles from the sides ASAP
    • Once both bottom tiles are fortified and no team ups in the top corners, start spamming all of her abilities. Hopefully they hit both corners, if not, just protect the ones at the bottom and try again.
    • If you need health, cast the one that gives you protect tiles and web tiles. Match web tiles quickly to heal.

Yeah, ascended Silk tears through the opposing team too fast.

I often kill the entire other team with normal Silk, ascended Silk must properly murder them.
