Our official 505 Go! forums at https://forums.d3go.com/ will be moving to a new home under a 505go.com domain next week. This update will change the forum platform and move it to a new provider. Our goal is to keep as much of the current forums' content as possible, such as its structure, user profiles, categories, topics, attachments, PMs, and polls.

One thing that won't be ported over is passwords, which will require you to perform a password reset upon visiting the new forums for the first time. If you haven't checked your profile recently, please update your email address to ensure that the password reset email is sent to the correct inbox.

Please note:
During the migration, some posts may not transfer over completely. The process relies on a one-time snapshot of the current forums rather than a live, real-time copy, so some new content posted after the snapshot will likely not appear in the new location. If you notice a few posts missing after the move, this is likely the reason.

Feb 23rd Update

Any posts after February 18, 2026 will not be included as part of our migration for the above reason. Please save any post made after this date if you would like to retain that information and if you're able to repost it when the new forum goes live, THANK YOU!

You guys just try to silence my cynicism, but I will never be quiet!

I assume at some point next week there will be a followup message like:
Starting February 24th at 00:00 UTC there is an expected 5 hour outage as the "snapshot" is taken and migrated.

    @S0kun

Will all the uploaded images/gifs/memes/links etc port over correctly?

Often that stuff all ends up broken. Especially when people linked in one comment thread to a different one. Presumably that will all be lost :(

The export came in this morning so any new messages moving forward will be snapped away at this point.

Images and links seem to be working on our staging server of old posts so I think we should be okay. The entire forum export is also a few gigs large and should contain a lot of these types of files.

Surprised links like the one Daz posted above will work given they are specific to the old Forum. Very handy if they do because there are a lot of useful links to old tables and other info.

I mostly see images that should be part of the migration, but if you can send me a few links here, I'll check with the migration team if their structure will remain intact.

If this one from Daz works they should all work. It's a link to another thread in this Forum.

But when you test, make sure it doesn't actually go to THIS Forum which is still in existence but will go away once the migration is finished.

Can y’all hurry up a little or lock this down or something?

It’s 2/24 so every post or comment that’s been put up for the last 6 days is just wasted time unless people copy and paste it to put up later.

Although one could argue every single post about a superhero match-3 video game is wasted time, I guess.

Ooooh, that's a great point about the lock down. Also, what about our post count? Will it come over from the snapshot, come over from whenever this closes or do we all start at 0?

It's been like 5 days since the first snapshot, and there have been some dev posts since then. They have to be taking another snapshot, right?
