Problems Recruiting Toad

Just checking to see if anybody is having problems recruiting Toad. I’m guessing he might not be released yet? I don’t know…thing is I have the shards and can’t unlock him or find him other than at the top of the screen. Anybody else confused?

    I received the shards (still not sure who they're from) and recruited him fine.

    I went into my roster and searched under 4* only, scrolled past the 50 spare slots and he was waiting at the very bottom.

    Yeah, I did that. He isn’t there.

    I'm having the same issue.

    Also, who was the feeder?

    Not sure who the feeder is.

    This is the kind of stuff though that makes me not want to spend money on a release/this game. Which I was going to do because I’m a X-Men fan. It might be that he hasn’t released yet, but him being available via shards for me, but not appearing in anyway to recruit is slightly confusing.

    Ahh, thanks.

    When a character is at max level the ascension button stops you from being able to see the level rewards.

    Try it now everyone. I don’t think he was officially released but he seems to be now. I can recruit via shards.

    Yep, he is in now! Thanks for the heads up! The devs should probably make sure these things synch up.if this is what it was.

    Anybody knows who Toads feed? - Google AI suggests Mag5, but can any confirm this?

    Lmao. Why would you trust Google AI? For a character that released yesterday?

    Not one person has access to a champed road unless they spend like….well, $40-50 for a few from the chain. Then he’s in the store along with 163 other 4s at 1:14 odds and Gert being weighted so something like 0.45% odds to get him. At 10 or 40 pulls you’re spending a lot of hp to get one Toad cover out of every 450. So I dunno. About 1.2 million hp needed.

    Obviously some sandbox account could build him that way, but they aren’t posting anywhere yet that Google AI is scraping I assume.

    However him feeding Mag makes sense.

    In any case there’s no rush to cover and champ him for that particular reason….

    He can't be championed at launch anyway, there's always a lockout period.

    I believe he has already been toned down some, his blue passive charged tile creation has gone from 6 to 3, and the bonus charged tiles from brotherhood members has gone from 4 to 1
    And yet he’s still pretty ridiculous!

    Migz Said in the other thread he's been toned down but they may need to adjust more.

    4-Star Toad went out a liiiiiiiittle busted. As everyone has seen, we have made some changes, but there may be a touch more polishing we need to do there.

    Toad will probably feed whoever the next 5* is, I think that's what happens when they don't have a feeder at launch.

    Lin Lie Iron Fist didn’t feed anyone and still doesn’t. Feeding Falcon wouldn’t have made much sense.

    Maybe they just want to have strong connections. Obviously there’s Magneto for Toad but he’s already fed, so maybe they’re planning a 5 Pyro or something.

    Anyway i basically agree. I think they probably plan to release 5s later that they can feed, even if it’s not the one immediately following.
