(Week of 9 Feb) Dev Updates Thread

Hey folks,

Dev updates thread for this week!
We are expecting the next builds (once they've cleared QA) to go out this week which has a couple of little things in it, such as the fix for the Step-Up Bundle of Future Past problem some of you have been experiencing.
(More details will be shared in Patch Notes.)

I assume you’re referring to the “where did my rewards go” issue when the game shows you things you never earned. Like this:

T250 is:

One elite
90 hp
1700 riso
4000 iso

Additional examples:

It is, in my opinion, completely inexcusable that BCS allowed this state to persist throughout 2025.

Whilst it would be great if the issue you highlight above went away, I think they are referring to the few individuals who are receiving items from a previous offer instead, when they make a purchase, resulting in tickets to CS

Oh, that does make sense.

Well that’s also inexcusable as an issue that wasn’t fixed.

I do appreciate humor but clarity alongside it is also valuable to me with my literal-leaning brain.

Only people who wear a lot of hats in the office are allowed to spin multiple plates in my experience in the game industry.

Only people who wear a lot of hats in the office are allowed to spin multiple plates in my experience in the game industry.

The entire business model of FTP games is spinning plates, at least unless you reach a critical mass of committed whales and as long as they stick around/keep spending.

It's constantly tweaking dials and incentives and finding the balance for your particular game of what exact things to give out or sell to keep people around and engaged and spending.

Anyway it's got to be somewhat stressful if this particular game is your main responsibility. Best of luck.
