How to complete "Match tiles of Black Knight strongest color"

His strongest color is Green, yet I've tried matching Green with any teammate or himself specifically, and neither advances this Season/Event Task.

Anyone figured out what this seasonal task is really tracking?

    Yes, it was the team’s strongest color. Not hard to do it, same old strategy.

    They do need to have someone start checking some of their text though.

    Thanks. Thought it was different because the wording changed from what similar quests like this that we've seen before.

    You have to have Black Knight on your team and do HIS strongest, which is Green at 370.
    Worked fine for me except that as alwayse no green falls, lol

    It's always the case that the color you need the most is either not dropping or AI just matches them away, even though that's not the color it needs. :/

    You have to have him in your team and then it is whichever is the team's highest scoring colour, not necessarily his strongest colour.

    Strongest colour in my team was black, and matching black registered for me.

    Use Domino or Cloak and have the person who’s most powerful with black as their strongest color and it goes pretty well. Ex: 5Mephisto, 5 Kang, Red Skull.

    It is strongest team colour, not Black Knight.

    This new phrasing makes it sound like Black Knight himself must make the his strongest match (which would mean Green in his case). I've done these Quests countless times before, when the named character just has to be our your team, and a the entire teams' highest match damage is what you have to do.

    Donno why they changed the Quest wording.
    Just strange to change something that didn't need changing, and to make it more confusing.

    Cloak & Dagger work great for black or yellow for any of these quests.

    I use Storm 5* for a lot of these. It's easy to load her up with yellow if you have the supports. She then has TWO powers that destroy a lot of the board for when you run out of TU tiles.

    My guess would be they are pulling from their internal docs/database to put the quest wording in. Possibly there's a database of quests they create each season, then some kind of filter etc converts that into the quest description we normally see, and they didn't realize that workaround was happening. So the quest descriptions are pulling directly from the database. Impossible to know from our end. I feel confident the character descriptions we see are from the internal database.

    I do not think it was intentionally done.

    True, looks like a keyword "wildcard" insertion setup going on here. I've worked on such myself.
    For sure not intentional, but even the sentence structure changed slightly I think, not just the keyword for the required character.

    Minor compared to everything else going on.

    Kinda fun to try and figure out their enum naming convention for the Characters.

    I feel confident the character descriptions we see are from the internal database.

    Yeah, it looks very much like shorthand rather than a full description.

    Pretty sure they stopped translating most things a long time ago. I've seen screenshots of players set to other languages, and tons of stuff just shows up in English.
