If a creature is serving you well, why should it stop doing so when it reaches its demise?

Persist

When a creature with Persist dies, it returns to the battlefield and gains Finality.
If a creature with both Finality and Persist dies, it is exiled.

In Shadowmoor, not even death is final. Which creatures would you like to grant Persist to, once the set drops?

.... Wait... ALL creatures gain persist? I'm sure there are shenanigans this could be used for, like if you need to kill some of Greg's creatures twice - BUT you're gonna have to kill those of Greg's creatures TWICE if I'm now reading this correctly. And if finality does in fact exile it properly then it might not count as a second kill for objectives. Or at least it might not be "destroy"
