*****Sunspot (Roberto da Costa)*****

Well, seeing as we still don’t have the stats for Sunspot (and perhaps likely never will), here he is. All numbers at lv450 (multiply by approx 2.16 to get the lv550 numbers)
Health: 72645
Match damage: Red 1003, Yellow 891, Purple 780
Feeders: Wolfsbane, Red Hulk
Solar Powered - 5 Red AP
3 covers: 6501 damage, or 9226 damage if you have 8 Red AP. Passive deals 5273 damage when allies fire Red/Yellow/Purple abilities, and burst heals 1648 when allies make a Red/Yellow/Purple match
4 covers: 7656 damage, or 10717 damage if you have 8 Red AP. Passive deals 6266 damage when allies fire Red/Yellow/Purple abilities, and burst heals 1958 when allies make a Red/Yellow/Purple match
5 covers: 9792 damage, or 13708 damage if you have 8 Red AP. Passive deals 7975 damage when allies fire Red/Yellow/Purple abilities, and burst heals 2492 when allies make a Red/Yellow/Purple match
Financial X-Pert - 5 Yellow AP
Wow this is a lot of words. Create 4 Asset tiles and a 3-turn Investment Countdown tile that creates an Asset tile each turn. When the Investment tile expires, remove all friendly Asset tiles and create a Strike tile of strength 356/428/570. PASSIVE: whenever you cause a friendly Asset tile to leave the board, gain 1 AP in your lowest AP pool. Whenever an ally matches a friendly Asset tile, create 2 more. Good grief. This is the epitome of “dump skill”. They couldn’t even make the Strike tile fortified?
A Few Favours - 3 Purple AP
Oh hey look another mini essay. Something something AP destruction. I’ll try to paraphrase: choose a colour. For every friendly Purple AP you have more than the chosen enemy colour, create an Asset tile. (Why are you making me do maths?) Then drain all friendly Purple AP, and destroy all enemy AP in the chosen colour equal to how many friendly Purple AP were drained. Wew. PASSIVE: If an enemy matches a friendly Asset tile, they take 4416/5127/5874 damage. If you have more than 4/4/3 Trap tiles on the board, that becomes team damage.
After all those words: it’s obvious his best teammates are those who have Red/Pink/Yellow abilities. Two that immediately come to my mind are 5Bucky and 4Moonstone. Yea I know all three of them have the exact same colours, but that doesn’t really matter in Marvel Passive Quest. Sticking to the Thunderbolts theme, Bucky and Baron Zemo might be a decent pair as well.
For the X-Men, there should be plenty of synergy there. Like seriously, there are almost 20 X-Men that are default 5s, to say nothing of ascension. I’m sure many players can find something that works. Red/Yellow/Purple ones include Kitty, Hotpool, Honey Badger.
If not for his Red and Purple passives, he’d be DOA. Just reinforces how crucial passives are to a character’s usefulness (hi Havok! And FirstCap too)
