One Universe. One Future. The Maker’s work begins, and he can do better. Select a non-friendly tile to convert into a 4-turn Countdown tile that increases Progress by 5, then deals damage equal to the current Progress and it converts a random enemy special tile to a new copy of itself.

Teams no one would ever pick:

Psylocke and Bagman with anyone. And yet….there they are.

I have no idea whether he’ll be good or bad but he likes Cities and Progress. Sounds like a newsreel from the 1940s. 😄

Unless I'm missing it, there's no way to reduce Progress, so it'll go up every turn, even if he's stunned or otherwise gone. If he's left alone (and also probably if he's ascended and high level), he could get that number pretty high.

Unfortunately, it starts off pretty low, and there's no way for anybody to speed it up, which means he's (probably?) not going to be fast enough to do anything competitive in PvE.

In PvP, if you can hide him or defend him long enough, he could be very fun!

It can only go up if the repeater is on the board (I mean no one is casting Blue, it's kinda useless since all it does is increase progress via a 2 turn timer that's not fortified and you can get increased progress already via the Black repeater). So if you stun/airborne/away him you should be able to stop progress by removing the fortified City repeater.

Anyone who passively makes attack tiles should be his friend (3 star Fist makes one or Polaris if someone places one first) or who makes massive numbers of attack tiles (Storm if hers was cheaper would be amazing making 32 of them) cheap. He needs lots of attack tiles to get things really rolling since he adds progress damage to everyone one of them which will be a lot if his repeater goes off a couple of times.

4carnage? it'll be too slow for anything practical, i think, but can be amusing.

Haha, so this one depends on their specific definition of "work," ("His Repeater and Countdown tiles continue to work while he is Stunned, Airborne, or Away") which is pretty hilarious. Do we have any other examples of "work" in this context?

I read it as "he will create a new repeater, even if stunned/airborne/away," but your reading is also perfectly reasonable.

    That's what I was thinking.

@KGB has made me second-guess my read on it, though.

I really wish they would be more clear in power descriptions, but I guess we'll figure it out through testing.

Hey, here's one -- if you put Low Level AI on him, will he create a strike tile AND an attack tile every turn?

True. What's strange is that reading OR's power description you'd have no idea it would work that way because it says 'start of his turn' and if you are stunned/away etc it's technically NOT your turn. Lots of other characters are worded exactly the same as OR's (eg Polaris) and yet their start of turn passive's don't work if they are stunned/away etc. It sort of makes sense for 5 star OR since he's a 'horseman of the apocalypse' but it definitely should be re-worded to make that clear. Same with Mr F'ing Maker's wording.

As for the Low Level AI support, I guess we need to test. Not sure if it coming from the support is considered from him or not. Would definitely help him make more attack tiles (right now he'll generate one from his passive City tile repeater and via firing Blue).

I started reading his first power and just gave up. It was like reading one of my Game of Thrones recaps - complete gibberish.

I'll just wait until he is in game and use my tried and trusted method of randomly pressing stuff.
