Set Rotation

With this update, we say goodbye to a few sets. DMU, BRO, ONE and MOM are now Legacy sets. This also mean we’ll have a few changes to events tied to these sets:

  • Revolving Planeswalker (all) is now a Legacy event. It will not be offered weekly anymore.

    • A new event will be available from Monday to Friday. More information below.
  • The following events remain Standard and have had their rewards updated:

    • Break the Powerstone will now give out DFT packs instead of BRO.
    • Of Machine and Freedom will now give out RVR packs instead of ONE.
    • The Kamigawa Run will now give out OTJ packs instead of NEO.

These new rewards were chosen so the new rewards are still aligned with the Objectives of each event and its mechanics.

Progression rewards

”No Victory Without Sacrifice.”

Time is a fickle entity; meddle with its threads and face the unimaginable consequences. The godlike power of the first era planeswalkers resulted in rifts in time and space. Teferi noticed the implications of those rifts when first preparing for the return of the continent of Shiv, after the first Phyrexian Invasion. The rifts in Dominaria threaten all of existence. Power means nothing when faced against the chaotic and unstoppable force of the march of time.

Special Rules

You’ll face random PvE enemies from the MtGPQ universe.

After 5 victories or 2 defeats, the event will end, and you’ll receive the accumulated rewards.

OBJECTIVES

  • Win the Fight!
    • Win the fight against your opponent!
    • Reward: 200 Mana Runes, +1 Score

REWARDS

The pack rewards for Planar Chaos will always be updated to the newest non-premium set.
