    Update happened. Crashed on load screen but I closed and reopened the game to get past that. Stalled on first match I played but by the time I'd read this thread it was working so I didn't have to concede the match.

    MMR seems to be broken though. All my new matches are for single digit scores.

    On iOS and locked out. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t work for me.

    What worked for me the last time this happened (unity release) was to play through the prologue until I created a username. Submitted a ticket with both usernames, screenshots, and support restored my game. I submitted a ticket last night and hope it can be resolved today.

    @PhoenixMagik This seems like an awful lot of hassle to resume playing. Why not just wait for a fix update to be pushed out?
    I’m a daily player since the game began, and finish top 50 in most PvEs, but I can do without my MPQ ‘fix’ for a few days.
    I’m assuming compensation for being fully locked out of the game will be fairly substantial, but I suppose it’s anyone’s guess at this point?
    Probably 12 more invisible woman covers, regardless of what they actually intend 🤪

    @Gymp28 the problem for me is that it seems my game isn’t backed up and being on iOS I’m in the group that’s being told to request a restore. Having had to do this when Unity arrived (this was my only issue with Unity - it’s been fine for me otherwise) I know what support told me to do the last time.

    This happened to me too when I went into the his PvP at lunch. But unlike you, I play for wins so I just racked up easy wins.

    It appears to be that it's treating the PvP like a lightning round. After 12 seed teams I started to get real teams again. The other bonus is that EVERY win against these seed teams yielded a cover reward (1 or 2 star) so I got 12 covers which was an unexpected bonus.

    I think what happened is that they're no longer allowing matchmaking between players on different versions.

    We had this problem when they removed the banned supports. Some players could use them because they hadn't updated, and some couldn't. I bet they fixed this by changing matchmaking.

    So because I updated to 327 right away, before anybody in my spice was on it, I couldn't get matched at all. As folks updated, they started showing up, but there were still some players that I could never find. I didn't test it more extensively, but it at least sort of makes sense.

    I updated to 327. The PvPs had lots of seeds and then I started getting a lot of seals/low level teams like I’d broken MMR. The theory that it only shows you people who also updated / are on your same version makes sense.

    But then, a bit ago people were mostly seeing people still on the pre-Unity version so I’m not completely sure what to think.

    If it's happening on the next event I can enlist some other players to test. Based on the inconsistencies I saw, the theory fits, but it could just as easily be something else weird.

    This update also reset the season pass missions and changed all the have to play characters in simulator 2 star Magneto is now 2 3 star is now punisher star thor 4 star annjenka is now captain braddock 5 star is now juggerduck.

    Also you can replay crash of the titans again it's the karnak one

    Heh, the loaner Sidewinder is level 246 instead of the usual level 351. The degeneration just continues.

    I don‘t get the seed teams but far more seals than I should, I get the feeling this pvp is borked in the way of a deck of many things

    The way it has worked so far is skip anything real player and the seed teams then start to turn up. Real players came back again after about 19 matches, skipped and seed teams were back. I decided I couldn’t be arsed to play to 50 matches so dunno what happens beyond the 25 I did on both PVP. Not tried SHIELD Sim.

    I did seals and seeds all the way to 50 wins in the Torch PVP, Simulator and in the 2016 PVP.

    Other players have kept going and the seals seems effectively infinite, if one feels like devoting that much time to a game which seems like it's circling the drain more rapidly every day.

    Are you guys seeing seed teams (bacon_magic etc -- the low level non player teams) or seals (actual human players with weak teams)?

    My experience was:

    1. Lots of seed teams - way more than normal. I was able to find some even after some human teams showed up. Not sure exactly when the seeds were gone.
    2. Now I find actual teams but most of the ones I find are seals; occasionally I'll see a strong team but if I skip, then the next one is usually a seal. Most aren't worth many points, probably because they're getting obliterated.

    My score isn't very high so that might be a factor here? Maybe if I hit the harder teams and pushed up more I'd see some more of the harder teams?
