A Permanent "Balance of Power" Event

I've been a player since almost day one and the biggest gripe I have about the game is that there is nowhere to play "just for fun" or to try your new characters to see if they're worth building.

The balance of power event is, in my view, perfect for this especially if it didn't include supports!

I am sick to death of playing shield SIM and wanting to try my new characters and not being able to because they're not ascended so my suggestion is this...

Please make balance of power (or something similar) permanent WITHOUT supports. The rewards don't even have to be good so that it pulls people away from PvP or PVE but there really needs to be somewhere we can go to play and enjoy the game without being murdered by whatever meta team is dominating at the time and not being able to counter it because your own team levels are too low.

My account is stacked but I don't have any 550 characters, I also don't WANT to have to put all of my resources into building characters I don't necessarily like (chasm, omega, Juggs etc)
