Champion Rewards: Too, too Many?

This is in reference to the SO MANY rewards for the 3 star characters once they become Champion level, the rewards you get when playing the Deadpool Daily event. The very long list, which begins with Grey Suit Black Widow, just reset about a week ago. Three star Iron Man (Model 40) was today's character. The game has 73 of them in total, of which I have 36.
Have the Devs considered that there may be WAY too many Champion rewards for every cover that is obtained in the Deadpool Daily? Let's not forget that its not only the 3 stars that can be promoted to Champions. And these lists have WAY too much Iso-8 on them.
My 3 star Iron Man just leveled up to 204, and he doesn't max out until level 266. That's 62 levels away. Let's do the math. I have to another, what, 73 days again to get another cover for him, not counting any random reward drops? Which means I also have to go through the list 62 more times in order to reach max level. If you multiply those two numbers together, you get 4,526, which is 4,526 DAYS!!! Now divide that into years. Without any random reward drops, relying on the Deadpool Daily rewards alone, it's going to take me nearly 12 and a half YEARS to reach max level!!! Is this game going to be around for that long?!?!
Has anyone ever actually thought about this, on what it will take to max level any of their characters? On the amount of effort and time it will actually take to fully utilize the characters that we are investing in and taking the time to work in this game? Is there something that I am missing here? Or am I the only one that's actually looking at it this way? All I am saying is that maybe the Devs should really consider severely shortening the Champions rewards lists for all of the characters. Or else its likely a lot of the players really aren't going to be getting their money's worth in this.

This player has been a forum member since at least 2018 so if this isn't a wind up then there isn't really even a word to describe what is going on here...

This is what happens when the developers make us wait so long for the new engine!

... ?
You do know that the DDQ rotation isn't the only place you can acquire said 3* covers right?
..right?

Well in 6 and a half years (at least) they only have 36 3* according to their highly likely post which literally feels impossible but I guess if you have never actually played anything apart from DDQ might be doable?

I’m just gonna say there are actually 75 3s and yeah dilution sucks.
Have a nice day.

It hit me that maybe they had only just come back after a 6 1/2 year break? But no:

I've been playing MPQ for a long time, off and on, and on my current run I have been going for a few years. And I think that I have the best roster that I have ever had right now. I log in at least once a day, and I just looked in on it and saw the new character poll for this year. And to be quite honest, it's rather weak. (To put it mildly.)
So this is either the world record for lack of MPQ progress over a sustained period (3* category) or a piece of genius WUM forum posting.

Looks like we need a new question in the Hardcore Quiz.
Have you ever calculated how long it will take to max champ a 3* character only through Deadpool Daily prizes and that it is the only event you play?
No: 0 points
Yes: -100 and MPQ will automatically uninstall on your device.2 -
Dare we resurrect the old classic "you are playing the game wrong"
Pour one out for the master troller, I don't think there's anyone here that misses you

Just in case:
Yes, the vast majority of people who play this game have thought about this, and I have yet to meet a single person or see a single post about enjoying the time it takes to level up.0 -
I wish I could speed up MAX champing a 3* from 4000+ days is not a guide I have seen to be fair.

And just think of all of the Bag-Man rewards you're missing out on. Why, one of today's quests is to "Down 21 enemies with Spider Man (Bag-Man) on your team."
BAG-MAN!!!

At first, the premise was a bit funny. Like some kind of reverse-slidecage, this alleged person is unhappy with there being too many rewards. I was expecting someone who was overwhelmed with unused covers and maybe a fair point about Iso-8 or something. Instead, we are painted a picture of someone who is seemingly only playing the deadpool dailies and nothing more.
The premise is absurd. "Okay, time to play MPQ. Ooh, today's cover is So-And-So. One more level for me, yay! Only 20 more to go... Welp, I'm exhausted, that's enough for today." (logs out)
I do give points for creativity in suggesting such a person could exist, and that they would even take the time to do some math in figuring out how long it might take to max a specific character. The poster stayed in character until the last line expressing concern about other players getting their money's worth.
Anyone playing in this fashion would clearly not be spending any real money on this game, or they would be progressing much faster than they claim. And anyone aware that real money is being spent in the game would no doubt understand that this speeds up progress, and their concern about money's worth would be unwarranted. Only someone spending cash would worry about its value related to the game.
Nice try. You almost had me convinced that there was maybe some outside chance that someone might be a bit unhappy that the restaurant they're eating at has food that is just a tad too delicious for their liking, so they stick to just eating the side dishes. Then you gave yourself away with the remark about money - as only someone spending real world cash would consider the money's worth value of a "free-to-play" video game.
I give the attempt 3 stars. It would have been four stars for creativity of the premise, but minus one star for the obvious giveaway.

You, however get 5 stars for the reverse-slidecage comment. It’s like you read my mind, but then posted it more eloquently than I ever could have.

Does anybody remember how you promote characters to champions and what you use to do it? Really can't think of what it is right now.
