Frantic Firebolt says it deals damage to target creature equal to the number of Adventure and Spells in your graveyard plus 2.

Instead, it does not gain damage from spells in your graveyard. The effect seems to be tied to this card, as Hearth Elemental's effect does gain from both Adventures and spells.
