Tamiyo Field Researcher (vanguard) not disabling the proper targets [fixed]

Had a game where the opponent had a phyrexian vindicator, so I used the Tamiyo VG -2 ability to disable it as it was the highest mana costed(only) creature on his side, instead a support (a land I believe) was disabled instead, the interaction took me to 1 HP and I almost lost the match. Can we get this checked out that it's not choosing targets at random and is actually following the proper order of target selection?
