Cards with Transform (Standard and Legacy) Cause Soft Lock when Mutated [Investigating]

I noticed this in the Colossal Tussle when mutating Startled Awake.
The game would freeze on flip.
I can recreate this fairly easily in Legacy TG with 3 werewolves and a mutate critter.
Here's the proof.
