Training cover bug, character not showing up in roster

While attempting to train my dupe 1-star Storm using the cover directly off the Vine ("Claim Your Rewards") I got the to-be-expected "You have more than one version of this character rostered" message.
But when I went to my Roster from that screen my 1-star Storm was not showing up.
I can see her in my Roster when I do not use the Train via Claim Your Rewards methods, and was able to train her/add the cover that way, but it's odd that she was not showing up using the "Claim Your Rewards" option.
FWIW she is not currently boosted. The level 50 was showing as 50, while the 1-star was nowhere to be seen.
