STUCK ON ANNIVERSARY REWARDS SCREEN - CANNOT PLAY GAME!!

I was shown a screen to select an anniversary cover. Regardless of the cover I choose, I am taken to the character screen, and it’s as if it is a totally new character, despite the fact that I have that character champed and maxed. This screen shows the shards I have accumulated, but the powers are all zero. They all show upgrade arrow but I CANNOT UPGRADE ANY. AND I CANT LEAVE THE SCREEN SO I CANNOT PLAY TODAY!!! I am losing a TON of rewards!! 🤬🤬🤬
