Speed Up Game Animations

I really enjoyed the speed and responsiveness of the animations and gameplay during the Martial Awe special Versus event. I wish this could be adopted into all other competitions, sometimes having to wait a few seconds (or even up to a minute) for the other player’s special effects to show up after I complete my turn, which causes me to quickly lose interest in game play. It seems there is an intentional delay on the other players turn (and this may be my lack of knowledge on what is going on behind the scenes) where I just have to wait for the special effects to even begin. There are no matches made or any other action being performed…just stare time and nothing is happening. This makes the game a little frustrating and time-consuming after a few battles.
