Wiccan Not as random as he should be?

Every time enemy wiccans green power goes off it surgically clears every one of my buffed tiles, in all of the PvP event it never went off without clearing the whole board of my tiles.

This does not seem as random as the power suggests (destroyed columns after the first are random?).

I'm on android in case it is an issue specific to the
