    The idea of "immortal" creatures has definitely been useful. I've adapted it to this:

    Karn

    Darigaaz
    Phoenix

    Sunset Pyramid
    Gilded Lotus

    Gather the Pack
    Talent of the Telepath
    Tormented Thoughts
    Infinite Obliteration
    Reclaim


    Basically just keeps their hand empty while each turn you get another 8/8 on board.

    Which Phoenix do you use?  I like the concept, though.  Need to give it a try (sans Darigaaz, unfortunately)

    What, you get infinite mana?  Cool combo, I never would have thought of that.
    Not infinite Mana, but both huf and rhonas's last stand drain all cards in hand. Thus if you cast huf with two cards more you get 6 activations of firefletcher for huf, then you get 5 activations of firefletcher for rhonas's last stand, then 4, 3 and 2. For a total of 20 activations: making firefletcher huge and dealing some 40 damage in the process.
    Ah, you also get a 28/28 snake

    I've been chasing Lich's Mastery in the purple packs. I haven't got it yet, but my latest pull got me Darigaaz!

    Logged in and found a gift since there was a bug in rewarding the random rare from the last event. An Elite Pack! How nice. I cracked it open and Oath of Teferi popped out. Super stoked. Time to make decks!

    Setting: Sunday afternoon, my couch 
    Activity: HOD Left node. Kiora versus AI with Sorin
    Mindset: :Time to lose an objective chasing baby vamp token all over the place.:

    Opening hand: Thunderherd Migration, Hour of Promise, Immortal Sun 

    On the board — a green 5 match. 

    Deactivate Immortal Sun and take my turn. Cascade fills TM and HoP. They autocast causing a spectacular green fireworks display filling my loyalty to 30. 

    Awesome 

    Cast Kiora’s ult, activate IS and make another match — U/G combo. Turns into another spectacular fireworks show filling my loyalty to 18. 

    Darn. I just cast IS :( 

    AI Turn 1— nothing cast. 

    Turn 2: Draw Uncage the Menagerie

    Make a U/G combo match — cast Uncage 

    At this point I should probably mention Ghalta is the only creature in this deck. So I cast 6 of those. 

    AI Turn 2: Who cares? 

    Turn 3: Win.

    I just had a super close battle in Across Ixalan Node 3. I was up against a Samut that cascaded into Obelisk Spider turn 1, then Gaea's Revenge turn 2. She also got a Zendikar's Roil on the board in the first few turns. I got out On Serra's Wings and History of Benelia, but she managed to use her first ability to keep killing my knights as they came out with her Gaea's Revenge. The turn before she would have killed me, I got out Dub and popped a Reason/Believe activated gem. I managed to wipe out her board. The turn before I could hit for lethal, she played Hour of Promise to refill her board… but she didn't have any blockers. I ended up winning with full health!

    P.S. This was my level 49 Huatli2 vs. a level 57 Samut.

    I’m really happy with the new update.

    I crafted all possible other mythics. And the no dupes in 400 pinkie packs works a charm. Pulled two masterpieces today - Magus of the Wheel and Living Death. Yay!!!!!

    Nice pulls!  Interestingly enough, they make a sweet combo together.  Enjoy!

    Seems to be the usual draw today. My team mate pulled those two cards today too... Oddly I also have those two cards as well, but I had magus earlier on. I got Living Death today in my EP.

    Just pulled Conflux. I didn’t realize how powerful this card was till I messed around with it in my Karn deck.
