Stockpiled DDQ or Event Vault Tokens

When a token for an event vault or DDQ vault go to "stockpiled", what set of covers are they chosen from? Is it still what the original vault was? Or is it basically a heroic at that point? Do they become Bonus Hero eligible when stockpiled?

    It's still a vault, you just don't get to see it, it doesn't deplete, and The contents change between each pull.
    At some point close to the new vault's start the contents will change to match the new vault, but there's no telling when that might happen.
