Sersi 3/5/5
Jean Grey(Phoenix 5/5/3
Valkyrie 3/5/5
I’m really feeling this team. I just champed Sersi. My Jean is at lvl 460 so the strongest color is green. Jean is so much better reworked. She tanks better and isn’t as easy to kill but she hits hard. You actually want her dying because her green hits so hard and you’re gonna have a lot of it. Until she dies, you use Sersi’s green and hunt for match 5s. Often I’ll select purple and wait until I have 14 to double cast Jean’s purple.Funny thing I’ll do is cast Sersi’s purple on black so when Jean casts her red, there aren’t any black tiles for her put enemy attack tiles on if there are more than 4 strikes on the field.2 -
Not my creation, but I came across someone using Legion, Yellowjacket, and Miles Morales. Whoever you are, 1-good job and 2-you're a meany. Ideally, target purple to get Miles invisible first. Legion's blue will fortify Miles' invisibility tile. Fire Legion's black to turn him invisible. Finally, turn Yellowjacket invisible. For the rest of the match, just protect invisibility tiles and you save on health packs as long as the opponent isn't using AoE.5

Just champed Melinda and a Ghostpool/ Valkyrie/MMay gives 7 red AP every turn so it’s a very nice team , she’s at 355
Also works great as a winfinite with Shang C but it’s much slower1 -
Trying to find interesting Sersi teams, so I took 5* Lord/Sersi/Hela into simulator. The plan was to use Sersi to make yellow for Star lord, who would convert enemy strongest into charged green, so Sersi could fortify all the attack tiles Hela spams on blue and pump them up. That circle works well as long as the enemy team’s strongest color isn’t green, because in that scenario Star Lord just charges some existing greens. There is special steal and tile overwrite on this team, as well as passive AP earn punishment, and conditional burst healing. It is pretty fun but the two very dated wingman characters tend to go down against most modern teams even if you win. Still, it’s a fun power synergy to me.2

Sersi is definitely underrated.
I'm experimenting with her and Shang Chi. Just need to figure out who the third one should be to make as many match 5s as possible. Maybe Riri for her blue shenanigans.
Her green and pink are really good. I don't even have time to use the whole revive mechanic of her before the enemies die.

i think she is too. I've currently been focused on characters who make specials on a single color like Hela, or characters who really want fortifications in play, but she needs a green battery. I feel like Shang-Chi is the obvious partner, probably with Onslaught to keep the cascades coming, so that's why I've been looking for non-cascade play things to do with her tile buffing.0

Sersi (with green at 4 or 5 covers)
BRB
Polaris
Loads of fun.
Always use Sersi's green to select blue tiles, over and over and over again. Pick whatever (non-blue) you want for her purple.
Blue cascades everywhere (which means easy stun-lock via Polaris) and increasingly monster (fortified) strikes and protects all over the place.
BRB gens you more and more green/blue AP like crazy.
It's almost winfinite, but not quite. Stun-lock is almost a shoe-in, though.3 -
Odin/Sersi/Green Goblin
Your mileage is going to vary on this team because Odin is extremely unreliable as a defender, but it's pretty fun. Use Sersi to get rid of a color you don't care about first, then use green to create purple for Goblin to use until you can fire off his purple on either Blue to stun everyone, or Black to create wild strikes that you can then pump up again with Sersi. It would be really nice if Odin were better at defense, but it isn't too bad once you figure out the loop.0 -
I appreciate all the Sersi ideas, keep them coming. I want to champ her soon.
Can someone try out a team for me?Sersi (center) + Ultron (left) + Kitty (right)
Turn 1: Collect purple
Turn 2: Use Sersi to restrict purple
Collect Green, Red or Yellow
Turn 3: Sersi creates 1700+ strike
Ultron creates 1000+ strike
Collect Green, Red or Yellow
Turn 4: Sersi creates 1700+ strike
Ultron creates 1000+ strike
Kitty buffs the 4 strikes by 700
***Strikes total 8,200
Collect Green, Red or Yellow
Turn 5: Sersi creates 1700+ strike
Ultron buffs 1 strike by 1000+Kitty buffs 4 strikes by 700
***5 Strikes total 13,700
Fire Sersi Green to fortify & buff
all strikes of a chosen color by 1200+***5 Strikes total 14,900 or 16,100
Or fire Kitty Red to create attack tiles
Or fire Kitty Yellow to create protects
***Each turn they create or buff 5,500 in strike tiles. If your strikes get matched away, Sersi & Ultron will create 2 per turn. If there’s too much purple, bring a cheap TU to destroy purple, like Shang’s Red, or Quake’s Blue.2 -
I have a 4/3/4 Ultron that I'm working on, still at base level, and even like that that team is viable. There is a lot of random AP gathering though to get anything done. Sersi is only creating strikes if she is getting match-5 options, and there is nobody on this team with active, predictable board control, so you're waiting on Ultron to do strikes for you. I ended up dropping Kitty's yellow early, so the team became a defense monster pretty fast, which served to keep the match long, but nobody really came to any harm. I think it'll be worth running with all of them champed for a safe mid-season simulator climb team.0

I replaced Ultron with my champed Knull just to see what happened, and I think in that situation Kitty was doing all the work more than Sersi because I wasn't getting green all that quickly.0 -
I just went back and ran it again, and as long as you are using Purple correctly and keeping what you cast it on under 5 (which isn't always that easy it turns out), it will make a strike for you. Once you have even one though, Ultron starts replicating it.0

Sersi (restrict purple, use green to create blue)1/2 ThorPolaris1

Valkyrie/Sersi/Profe$$or X works pretty well. This puts (depending on your builds) purple as the highest damage color, so Bounty Hunter keeps Professor X fed, who can make a decent amount of green so long as the opponent isn't running a Wanda, and all your strikes from Valkyrie end up on yellow and are therefore easy to fortify and boost.0

I mean this is no new news to anyone but of course I just champed Big Wheel so it is BW/5Thor/SC. Just really, really amazing team with so much. You can see my post on Big Wheel's character page on how I play them but for those on the fence for BW consider this:
1.) 5Thor - AP gathering (red/green are the important ones)
2.) 5Thor - board shake (helps add charges to both SC and BW)
3.) SC - his powers are amazing damage with just a few charges
4.) SC - tanks with a few charges and then has true healings
5.) SC - his powers also add charges to BW
6.) BW - does great passive damage every few rounds from all of the charges
7.) BW - his board flips shake the board
8.) BW- his green is a good cheap quick damage (for all that 5Thor green gathering) and a precious board flip that can keep SC charges going on bad boards and his green flip can also cause cascades which fuel his own charges1 -
Here are two fun teams that I had a blast playing:
1) Death by Eternal Life: Monica Rambeau/Sersi/Agent Coulson
https://streamable.com/wkcba2
Eternal Life is an underrated power of Sersi because it takes a match-5 followed by 3 turns to process. What if you could create many match-5 and trigger multiple Eternal Life cds within the same turn? This team will do it beautifully
2) Know thy Gift of Rotation: Onslaught/Sersi/Big Wheel
https://streamable.com/v8ntt4
This team can go winfinite against Wanda/Apocalypse/Colossus. The catch is you must keep SW alive. Onslaught will turn yellow to green only if SW is alive, which will help Sersi, who will create more yellow tiles. If SW is downed early, Onslaught will turn yellow to purple. Big Wheel is there to dish out 30k damage with his red against opponents.
I didn't take out SW's repeater early so this video is about 5 minute long. Winfinite starts at 40 second mark. It's normal to have 6-10 Eternal Life cds on the board with this team. I could have taken out Wanda with Big Wheel's passive rotation damage and then make normal match-3 for next 2-3 turns and let Eternal Life take out Apocalypse and Colossus. But I wanted to showcase Big Wheel's red as well.3 -
I started running Elektra/Electro/SWitch in simulator. Even without opposing hulks the punitive damage on this team relative to their durability is atypically high. Dangerous on a few colors too.2

Valkerie,5 Star, Star-lord, and Melinda May are Super good with each other bro. Constant yellow, and unlimited green cascades, and boardshake.0

Okoye , Melinda, and Polaris has been a quick stun lock in a few turns in PvE. Usually 1 Team up match gets it rolling in SCL 100
