    I have no idea how the new "strongest team stays on defence" algorithm works. I've already used at least 3 different teams, it will be interesting to see which one is out there.

    So, if anyone sees me in their queue (I'm in slice 1) and it's not a retaliation, please let me know what team you see.

    I know I've used Red Hulk / Witch / Storm, Carnage / Doc Ock / Moonstone and 4Thor / IM40 / Hawkeye.

    Nothing really leaps out as being a natural fit, so wacky team selections are welcome.

    Hey guys ! I want to ask you for advice. I don't have any usable 4*(1/1/2 Cho and 2/1/0 XFW are my best guys there), but i'm really tempted with that yellow Peggy cover. Is it possible to get her with my roster, or i should go for lower CL's for better placement rewards ?

    I just played a few rounds of this one... why was this not an Anniversary event? It just feels like an Anniversary event: find team matchups you don't normally do, dust off players you may not normally get to play, (almost) everyone gets buffed, play around with less covered players because you need to fill out a team. This felt like a lot of fun!!!!

    And (best of all?) from my understanding is not brand new so would not need any testing/bugs fixes/etc. So why would no NOT pull this out for Anniversary.... DEVS, I VOTE FOR THIS FOR EVERY ANNIVERSARY!! Lets start a new tradition icon_e_biggrin.gif

    It was actually part of regular off-season rotation (1*-2*-3* variation) till some point in 2015 when more and more 4* were out. Good it's back. It can happen more often than anniversary (to replace the dreaded BOP).

    What is the structure of the boosts? Is it like BOP when all are 550 or rather regular boost?

    They are regular boots, so your 4* is in the high 300's, 3* in the High 200's and the 2* in the low 200's

    Woohoo! Got Peggy's yellow with 42 hours left to play around with funky combinations! Must be a record for me to hit there. I guess lots of people want that cover as it felt like there were a few more folks out there.

    RHulk, Scarlet Witch and Storm worked a treat for me. Witch tanked blue over Storm, so she sat in the back safe, ready to stun if a dangerous power was going to get unleashed.

    This is an odd event when you're best 4* is Devil Dinosaur. I'd like to get the Peggy cover, but I'm not sure how possible it will be with such a janky team. I started with DD/Hulk/Ares, but I think DD/IM40/MNMags might be my best bet here...until other people start attacking me. Eh, we shall see...

    Godly Fistbuster is fun, and rainbow to boot. HB/IF/Ares. HB/IF/Thor could work too, but I like Ares more for green/yellow, especially since I'm generally clearing green off the board anyway with HB's blue and it's not a high priority to collect. 14 green for meh team damage isn't my idea of a fun time.

    Might run 4Thor/IM40/MNMags or Ares. That sounds fun, too!

    Your first list made me realize that, excluding Bagman (who really doesn't count), every two star character with an active yellow also has an active red: Ares, Captain Marvel, Thor, and Captain America. Storm has no red, but a passive yellow. I was looking for an active yellow to flesh out that team with no red to get in the way of Hulkbuster.

    I have tried 4Thor and IM40 with 2-star Storm with a decent amount of success. Get those charged tiles from Thor, then use Lightning Storm to get a lot more AP than normal. Generally good enough for either another recharge (once IM40 recovers) or another Smite. You give up purple and black, but Thor's Red at LVL 5 will take out most characters if you've got her champed. Just bear n mind that 2-star Storm is really, really soft in health.

    This PvP surprisingly fun, despite my lack of decently covered 4*. Much better than BFF and it certainly should be anniversary event. My 1/1/2 Cho, KK and Thor got me to almost 700 points and i really hope for that yellow Peggy. Wish me luck, guys !

    This was my favourite PvP in over a year. The team combination was really interesting and levelled the playing field a lot more than balance of power.

    I got my Peggy cover with a shield hop although I did have a champed Cyclops for my four star destroyer. I paired him with OBW for keeping enemy teams ap down and mixed around the three star characters. Fist worked well although IM40, Switch and Kamala were other great partners.

    Big pool of people going for the Peggy cover in Slice one, I mean that in a non-cutthroat kind of way. I lost due to a cascade at 850, ragequit, came back ten minutes later and still hadn't lost any points by then. Was able to get the cover after a failure in Nefarious foes due to points drying up.

    Agree 100% For all the (well deserved) grief the devs got for Boss Rush, they should get an equal amount of kudos for this event. It worked really well, no crippling bugs, and there were a lot of teams that showed up with rarely-played characters.

    Best of all, Old Man Logan was nowhere to be found!
