Carnage black

Got my first icon_carnage.pngblackflag.png should I use it? Main concern is that his black makes him harder to use in his DDQ CotT.

    I was concerned about that too, but I went ahead and did it and still didn't have too much trouble on his rd2 ddq day. I haven't really ever found a good group for him yet. without the black his ddq day is very easy though, but the green never does anything in normal play other than be a very expensive jugs board shake. never had an opportunity to run him against a storm though - that could be ugly. some day when I get to level him (or when he's boosted or essential), I'm looking forward to running him with im40.

    lol - got it. black was one of my 'valleys'. my carnage was 5/-/4 before I saw a black (similar to my hulk back in the day) - ddq was super easy with 5/-/4. took me 3 tries with 5/2/5 this last time (level 145). my OML headed the same direction (2/-/5, and yes I'm bitter about it).

    3 red covers is all you need for the DDQ fight. Anything else is gravy for the levels. If you get a lucky board your black won't even fire until you are in the process of killing him off. That is what happened in Round 2 for me and I only had 2 red.

    Carnage was my 3rd champed 4*. I tend to leave him on defense now in Shield Sim with Jeanbuster. In non-EOTS PVEs, he pairs well with OML and Daken for the self healing. I would love to get more Nova covers together because I think Nova would be great with him too.
