PVP vs Simulator

Quick question, when i leave the current pvp and go into the simulator to try some things out, will that change my defensive team i left in the current PVP? Or do they work separately, whoever i end sim with is defending in sim and whomever i ended the current pvp with is defending there?

    Different events do not affect each other in any way, shape, or form, except for indirect things like MMR and scaling.

    Good to know. Went back in to the PVP and it started me with my characters from the sim, i think it was just bringing up my last used.. which is what caused me to ask.
