Request to disable visual animations or add a 2x speed game mode
Would it be possible to have an option to disable almost all animations during matches? Or at least have a 2x speed game mode?.
Everything that happens in the game generates animations that slow it down considerably. Every time gems are converted and matches occur, when mana cascades happen, whenever creatures are given +x/+x bonuses, when you gain abilities like trample, first strike... a ton of tokens entering the battlefield...
Everything involves some visual effect that constantly interrupts the game, and you end up staring at the screen watching animations that happen over and over again in every match (in your turn and also in the opponent), animations that aren't necessary because you know everything what is happening because you play lot of matches and are always the same, and if something happens that you didn't catch, you can check the battle log. So please, implement an option so we can play more smoothly and not have to waste so much time just waiting for visual effects to resolve themselves in the form of visual animations.

I feel like the need for this is some of the reason we've been getting a lot more creatures and token cards/abilities that summon 1 and then reinforce the rest. While this has been helpful some, there are still times when a lot of cards are interacting with each other and yes the animations are still "TDM". Other steps in the right direction that WebCore has implemented have been some cards that acknowledge how much they will trigger and that state this on their first instance, which has maybe made it seem like the full batch of animations afterwards is more streamlined. I am not sure the full breadth of cards that this affects, but I think Arrogant Bloodlord's vampire tokens state the start of each batch of ABs that are getting exiled from the graveyard. Which is nice, as there can be a lot of them.
Considering that you have to get to the game settings to even change the animations as they are now, I'm not sure if there is a way to ever be able to activate faster animations or to none at all mid-game, such as in the case you wind up facing an opponent that is running stuff with a lot of triggers, or perhaps when you come to discover that something that you are testing triggers a lot of triggers as well. It would be nice if being able to activate or deactivate animations in those situations were possible.
Maybe other workarounds could be implemented, sorta like what was done with the Plague Control event from WOE after its first iteration, where after a point, triggers get batched together to get more streamlined when it becomes apparent that they are forming a loop or such.
