Pvp bug?

Second time I've had this happen in the last 12 hours. Nothing but seed teams. That's it, just seed teams with dwindling point value each battle. Happened in the last lightning round I played last night(3am) and just now in c/o 16. I've already hit 35 wins. Anyone else having this happen?

Edit: yes, I did the update we weren't supposed to do.

    It happened to me in the torch event last night.

    It happened to me in the torch event last night.

    Haven't played that one yet...I'll try it out now and update.

    Haven't updated but this is what's happening in all PvPs. Yesterday's bug was to lock out a bunch of the user base and today's bug is giving out nothing but seed teams for the first 35 or so fights. Made it pretty easy to get to 50 wins in both Class of 2016 and the Jim Hammond PvP. Some extra salt in the wound for those who got locked out of the app by yesterday's bug I guess.

    I got this for 12 teams in a row. Makes me think it's like lightning rounds where you get a whole bunch of seed teams. I also got a cover reward for winning each one so it was a great way to pick up a whole lot of covers.

    But after 12ish seed teams I started to get normal teams in my queue even if they weren't for a whole lot of points (20-30 tops).

    lol geez.

    Also could use pvp to start handing out boosts again, running real low.

    I think it's related to versions/updates. I posted in the other thread.

    The fact that people are still seeing it is probably evidence against that theory, but it's still possible.

    Could be that. It's only happened in the two I originally mentioned and then the torch event also. All other LRs have been normal since.

    Happened to be in the new 2016 or whatever year event. Which is awesome, since placement isn't a thing. Get my 50 and get out nice and easy.

    But I noticed a few things:
    1) I did 25 matches on my lunch hour vs seed teams then put the game down. After I came back just a few moments ago I had a bunch of hits. So someone was queuing my team for wins vs hitting seeds which seems strange.
    2) So I pushed on to 50 wins just now. After skipping the retals I was offered seed teams again. Around 35 wins I broke into the T20 at which point I stopped seeing seed teams.
    3) I beat up one easy real team (far below my level, like 200 levels below). After that win I was offered seed teams again BUT ONLY on the one spot I got a win (the other 2 spots would only show non-seed teams).
    4) Around 45 wins I ran out of seed teams again. So on a different spot I beat up another easy real time (again far below my level) and once again was offered seed teams BUT ONLY on that spot. So I did the final few wins to hit 50.

    Other things of note. Every seed team I beat gave me a cover reward which was a nice way to get a almost 50 1 and 2 star covers.

    So I don't think this is an issue of lack of valid teams as EB suggested.

    I agree, but I think we'd need a little more testing because your matchmaking is probably weird normally. Seeing seed teams can happen in certain situations but not like what you described. I wonder what it is.

    Yeah, they need to fix this fast. PvP is basically a cover farm for some people right now.

    I agree, it was awful -- completely unplayable.

    I only play PvP to take points away from other players, not to beat up on lvl1 computer teams! I had to reinstall the game so I could find 50 or 60 point player teams to farm over and over.

    I'm more concerned with the grinders basically getting every one of their 2* and 1* characters to 550. These missions drop a lot of covers.

    I updated to 327 about an hour ago. Got the seed teams as expected. Did about 30 quick wins in the two PvPs.

    Then I restarted the game and the seed teams disappeared. Not sure if there was a data push or if it’s something else, but it looks like normal PvP teams for me now.

    I gave in to temptation and clubbed my way to 50 in 2016 pvp. I feel a bit guilty.

    I had managed to avoid the pvp bug until suddenly last night I started seeing nothing but seals in sim and 2016 pvp. I clubbed my way to 50 wins in 2016 since I was already half way there and almost every match was dropping a cover. So 25 wins later I had 20 covers to apply to my ascended 1 and 2 stars and 18 cp.

    I’ve got some names in the SHIELD simulator I don’t recognise as seed teams, which I guess are the ‘seals’, but I’m not fully convinced they’re real — is everyone else seeing HippestHipstah, Slasher58 and ChopStuck?
