Kraul Whipcracker is not destroying anything when it comes into play

    I played against it in QB and it worked as expected.

    It's been suggested by another player that perhaps Whipcracker is trying to destroy the event support? Perhaps that's why it's worked for you in QB, but didn't work for me playing in Revolving Planeswalk

    I think @Xibvert has found it's working intermittently, too?

    Yes. So far quick battle it always works, but for events with an event support it sometimes fails to destroy anything even though the opponent has a card in play it's able to destroy.

    I have also had problems outside of QB.

    Yeah feels like it's sometimes randomly choosing the event support and then it can't destroy it so you don't get to destroy anything.

    I notice today that Echoes of Eternity is allowing me to target the event support in Colors of Magic, so maybe this is a wider event support problem that might affect many different cards.

    (I didn't try to destroy the event support with Echoes because I didn't want to risk a crash in CoM!)

    I have had other strangeness going on with cards not activating or being unable to cast cards in the last few days. I can’t really tell what is going on.
    But Kraul is the most prominent identifier.

    The event support targeting issue seems to apply to everything. It's been confirmed for several other effects that they're occasionally failing to destroy something when the effect can affect supports and there's an event support. Ray of Ruin, Demolition Field, and Ruthless Lawbringer to name a few.

    Echoes of Eternity is also having a targeting issue too but since it's selected and not random you can choose to crystalize an opposing event support.

    @Magic:PQ Support Team you looking into this? It's seems to be a wide impact problem and not just a single card issue.

    Can someone tell if this is fixed by the latest data push? They did something to the event support (Fixed: Event Permanent Supports interacting with Crystalize).

    That fix seems to only stop you from being able to select an event support with crystalize to exile it rather than resolving the more general issue of effects trying to affect event supports.

    Today I was able to target and exile the event support in the Plague Control event, using Karn, Reflective Silver's "Silver Reflection" tokens

    Thanks mate! 🙏 I noticed that I was still able to use the +2 ability of the Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker Vanguard while the only opposing support in play was the event support so that was already a bad sign.

    That's okay Echoes of Eternity still has the defective version there it doesn't work on vanguards or any of your own supports. Maybe they want crystalize to be different for every effect that uses it even though they all use thr same description. I kind of like it as a Planeswalker ability. You have to be willing to play with PMA Karn to get it.

    It's less of an issue when the only event support is under your control. Since it mostly gets in the way when you're trying to do things to opposing supports.

    This is also allowing Rakdos to trigger and get his reinforcement. He’ll keep growing even if the only thing in play is the event support

    @Magic:PQ Support Team This is a major issue. It affects just about every event! ANY sign of communication would be greatly appreciated! Are you looking into this? When do you expect this to be fixed?

    @Magic:PQ Support Team I totally agree with the former post of Machine! This bug effects many high profile cards so adequate action and communication will be highly appreciated.
