Standard Elite packs

Right now only the Bloom Burrow elite pack is the only elite pack available for standard. This simply shouldn’t be. At minimum it should be the newest set and 3 other standard elite packs rotating. Where have OTJ elite packs gone?

    Day 1: The air is thick with anticipation. How will they respond. Will they add more elite packs to the vault? Will they provide a schedule of elite pack rotations?

    Day 2: Pacing back and forth and looking at my surroundings I see many doors. I approach the first door. I knock and open it almost simultaneously, and call out inquisitively, Hello!? Is there anyone here? I just have a question. I mean no harm. No reply. I will try another door.

    Day 3: Happy Halloween! There are now 2 standard elite packs and 3 legacy packs. Please add one more standard pack. The last 3 sets would be great. The crowd is chanting. OTJ!, OTJ! , OTJ!. It is echoing through the caverns of Ixalan and shaking the plane to its core.

    just wanted to say a big thank you for the devs for ignoring this for weeks (months?) now, and still not bringing the OTJ elite packs back, so players who saved enough pinkies and/or craft points can finally get those nasty lands.

    We (the players who don't own them) really appreciate your approach by saying, well who has it, great, enjoy your life in game, well who don't have it, screw y'all, you not gonna have it until we nerf it finally.

    Because I think that's what might happen, they gonna nerf it. If we are lucky enough we don't spend any resource on to get them before the nerf :)

    Meantime, just enjoy facing them day in day out, and not even having a chance to grab them >:) you just gotta love this...

    And in today's episode of "The Standard Elite packs aren't working"....

    • No FDN Elite pack available in vault
    • No 120j DSK Elite pack available in vault (only the 400j one is there)

    Have you guys been seeing Legacy packs? I feel like for the last month, there have been no Legacy packs.

That sense of timing and rarity is intentional—but we also understand how frustrating it can be to miss out, especially without a clear path to a second chance."

    Everything is going according to plan. You're supposed to be frustrated so that it's more thrilling if you eventually get a card you want. The frustration isn't strictly required but they'd have to have some sort of system in place for providing information about when cards will be available so you can look forward to that time.

    They don't really give the impression that they actually know very far in advance when they'll decide to permanently stop offering something or when things will come back that they're continuing to make available so they can't really give us information they don't have. The current focus seems to be on releasing a new set the first Tuesday after an mtg set release. They are doing a good job of that, but not much else is on a schedule that looks that far ahead.
