June 10 Lightning Deal - Thunderbolt Tokens?

The Lightning Deal I had for today was "Elite Tokens to boost your roster! Includes Bonus Thunderbolts Seasonal Vault Tokens!" I purchased it for the HP, and then realized that the active vault was the Pride Month. I got two Elite tokens with the Thunderbolt tokens... Anyone else buy it and then realize the tokens were for the wrong vault?

    I bought it thinking it was for this season's vault, new avengers. When I didn't have 2 tokens to pull, I assumed it was for pride vault. Only problem is I bought out that vault the day it dropped and have been collecting the daily's for post-event pulls, so I can't tell what my count is.
    And I'm honestly not even really mad, would've got it regardless to move my 3* fav along.

    You (and me, and everyone else) actually didn't get any vault tokens with the offer, just the 10 Elites. Later in the day (it was around 5 hours later?) the devs did a data push and replaced the text to clarify the offer is/was just for 10 Elites for 200 hp, no vault tokens included.

    Scroll down into your old vault listings. I had two Thunderbolt Vault tokens, even though there was no vault in there. Each one is basically a 1-in-80 chance at something that was in the vault. I ended up with two Elite tokens from the Thunderbolt Vault tokens.

    Yeah I can also verify that I have 2 thunderbolt tokens as well. you gotta go to the very bottom of the vault list. Probably last thing added

    If you go into the "Vaults" tab in your screenshot, and scroll (most likely all the way down) you should see an empty window similar to the ones that the vaults are usually in with "Thunderbolts Tokens" in the title box. You should have two of them that you can claim.

    I know where to find them. They never showed up.

    Anyways, grand scheme it's no biggie to me, I wanted the elites and I got em.

    I know where to find post-event tokens (I have one for the Father’s Day vault right now). I did not get any Thunderbolts vault tokens when I bought this bundle but, whatever.

    can you check and clarify the situation? I know I saw 2 thunderbolt tokens on my account, but it does look alot of people are saying they don't have it? I can add a SS if necessary

    What do you do if you have 100+ old vaults? I have no idea how to find the Thunderbolts seasonal vault in my massive list of old vaults.

    I asked in the Q&A a long time ago to have them be searchable or at least in some kind of alphabetical order or some other order.

    This might be amusing to a player who opens everything as soon as he gets it, but the irony of hoarding is that after a while it becomes self-reinforcing in that the time to unhoard a serious amount is ungodly.

    Back before ascension was introduced I used to open 1000 elite or heroic tokens at a time. That was approximately the amount it took to completely cycle a 2 star farm (1000 tokens at 75% yields 750 covers which for 13 2 stars is 57 covers each). I did it like that because I liked seeing a big boost to my resources from the full farm cycle. But the downside is the time it takes. Even with opening 50 at a time it takes more than 1 minute for the animations to play out which means 20-25 minutes just to open the tokens. Then another 20-25 to apply covers, ISO champ and finally apply champ covers and then finally apply 3 star reward covers etc. So roughly 1 hr per 1000 tokens. Once your hoard starts to hit 10000+ tokens (I'm mid way between 10 and 20 thousand between all token types) you realize it would take the better part of a few days to open them all if you did nothing else for 8 hrs a day.

    It's one reason we desperately need a way to open more than 50 at a time AND not have any animations when doing the mass openings.

    Have you ever thought you might need to re-evaluate things rather than the game change coz I don't think the game ever asked you to be opening 1000 tokens at any given time?!?!!!

    There's no harm in asking for what he's asking for, I just don't think it's going to be a priority for them. "I have hoarded so many tokens that it takes forever to open them" is definitely a "you" problem and not a "game" problem.

    I agree it definitely isn't a priority based upon I guess all the other real things that are or should be a priority.

    Re: the hoard situation….one could view it as a lot to open. Or view it as large amounts of time saved vs doing them in small clumps, applying a cover to 4 different 2s after scrolling to different parts of the store....you're way ahead due to efficiency over the time most players spend interacting with opening tokens.

    Also I got my two Thunderbolts vault tokens already (thanks, CS!) and pulled a 3-4 Punisher I didn't have before, so I guess that I officially won MPQ for today. Thanks everyone, better luck tomorrow.
