Drone token doesn't deal life loss after combat

The Drone token created by Kaito, Dancing Shadow Vanguard has:

"When this creature is dealt combat damage: Your opponent loses 2 life and you gain 2 life for each 1 damage it was dealt."

    This must be a regression. I can remember it working as described, when using it some months ago.
