Every time you drag Bucket into this again, a kitten dies.

A kitten may die, but a hound lives.

If EB doesn’t weigh in, we’d be deprived of gold comments like this.

    Carry on!

You’re not too wrong EB. There’s probably a lot of escalation of commitment in players that have been around for years. I find myself thinking of quitting on a regular basis, but I’m somewhat of a completionist, having just championed all classic 5stars. A lot of time and effort gone into this game to simply walk away. Plus I’ve liked many of the changes made by the new devs, even if there have been some missteps and there is so much work left to do. Hoping 2024 will be a year of better improvements and characters.

If you're not enjoying it anymore, you should try to change something about how you're playing, and if that doesn't work you should absolutely quit. This is a game, not a job. It should be something you choose to play every day because you enjoy it, not an obligation you're required to fulfill. There is no shame in walking away from a hobby you no longer enjoy.

The day I stop enjoying playing MPQ is the day I walk away for good, with no regrets. I wish some others would take that advice.

Mostly I think I’m just a little bored of the same old same old. Now I totally walked away from Forge of Empires. That game really felt like an obligation. LOL

I honestly think that, for some folks, complaining about MPQ on here is part of their enjoyment.

Well, not just here. In alliance chat, in game...
I thought everyone did that? At least after a (number) of years played? :D
