    Single pull from the AAPI vault lucked into 250 Wong shards, so he is now re-aligned with Abomination's rewards; cut it down from 40 covers to 22. I'm going to move my 5* favorite over to Magik.

    My acquisition of Latest Legends has slowed dramatically since Shardmas 2022. For the past several months I have been opening a 50 pack of Latests when the new rotation happens. After I finished applying covers and shards I only have a stash of 24 Latests in reserve so I might not have a full 50 when the High Evolutionary rotates in. The 50 I pulled this week got me 3 champ levels for Kang, 3 Magic covers (3/4/1 with 1515 shards) and 1 Jeffrey (1,1,1 with 2355 shards).

    I haven’t used any CP in Latests for a pretty long while. I’ve been kinda hoarding and kinda spending on Classics. I was bored earlier today and got 43 Classics. This brought me down to 5500 cp. One of the covers was a Rescue cover so now I only have one classic 5* (Gambit) that is not champed.

    I’m not chasing finishing Gambit who needs 295 shards. My Rogue is in the 360s so I won’t be getting any help from her for awhile. But I’m definitely nearing the end of champing all the classic 5*s.

    Just pulled a usable Wong out of Classic if you can believe that. He is now champed. Abomination was at 306. I’m favoriting Magik at the 5 and 4* level to get her moving.

    Current latest:
    Kang: lvl 453 with 240 shards
    Magik: 2/2/4 with 456 shards
    Jeffrey: 2/2/3 with 190 shards

    NEW:
    High Evolutionary: 1/1/1 with 490 shards

    I have 19 LTs banked up for Kang to leave latest. Currently 2.7 million iso. I stay low on Hp because I’ve had to roster 4* dupes and there have been vaults I’m interested in lately.

    I have 29 lvl 370 4*. 28 of those have dupes started. 9 of those are champed solely through organic cover acquisition.

    I don't know whether to gloat about classic pulls being better than everyone thinks, or to be sad that 4* didn't save you.

    Your rate of 4* acquisition/growth is completely bonkers. There are likely some serious players with much more tenure than you who don't have 29 370s.

    Yeah, I think spending into both legendary pools in real-time rather than hoarding up is how it’s done at this rate. I don’t even play for top placement, I just green check every node in SCL10 that usually shakes out to T200 or so. I would expect higher end players to be moving way faster than that. I’m on Day 2657 for posterity. My daily reward was 500 iso, so look forward to that, young players.

    I am at 2349 (today was a multi color damage boost!) And I have 48 maxed 4s. But I have been more of a top 50 player so progressed a bit faster than TRW.

    I am at 2674 and don't have a single 370...although Captain Marvel is getting there. I did get a Mighty token today though, so there is that!

    In another thread, I shared that I pulled 4 covers worth of shards in around 100 - 120 pulls.

    Now that bonus shards are bumped up, I wonder on the difference between half classics, half latest vs all in on latest.

    The “discount” on classics may allow players to pull more, which in turn allow more bonus shards.

    There is no “may” about it, it absolutely “will” give you 20% more pulls and then the associated shard increases.

    I've noticed the impact of it already.

    This is yet another in an increasingly long line of factors that suggests classics are not a worthless dead end, but are a viable strategy for progression, if your goal is to build out a balanced roster.

    Sadly, they'll continue to be ignored by most players. Happily, those of us who are willing to deviate from the accepted "optimal" strategy will get to enjoy a significant competitive advantage.

    Yeah I've hit some 5* bonus shards already, and a half cover of 4* shards, and surely some 3* but I don't much pay attention to those.

    I pulled about 30 Classics the other day. Once I've champed Sersi, I'll probably use most of my CP on them. Until then I'm keeping about 4000CP as a float in case of a special store.

    Agree. I guess my question is whether it tip the balance for ppl to shift from all latest to half classic/half latest approach. I would be curious to see whether some math inclined forum members can develop a model for compassion.

    I’m definitely pulling in significantly more CP for Classic than I am LTs, so if you are all in on Classic I don’t think it could be a 50/50 split on pulls. I imagine that there is a 50% cp spend in both stores option as well as a total commitment option.
