Try Sersi with Onslaught and set her AoE to 5 cover. I bet you see a minimum of 3 cds on the board. The highest I gotten was 5-6 of her cds.

I've been doing Shang Chi, Onslaught, and Magneto, and often end with a large cascade. Even better with SC boosted.

What happens when Magik summons MPQ RNG and Demons together?
There's a crazier variation of this where 20% of the board was Demon Repeaters

I think this is why Magik was pre-release nerfed.

This is the minimum damage she'll be dealing at level 450 (pre-nerf). This repeater gives 15% boost while pre-nerf gave 25%. Near the end, 6 repeaters went off and Ironman took ~100k damage. If I'd paired Emma with her, he will be downed. At 550, Ironman would have taken ~400k damage near the end.

I've enjoyed 5 star Black Panther with Domino and Clea. The black tiles flow down for Panther's active, and each hit from Domino proc's his extra damage this way too. This team also gives Clea a chance to really shine and do what she does best, the only down side is the extra black on the board from Domino, so I'll usually throw Clea's purple after Domino's Red. Pretty fun, good damage, not bad defensively. Not sure about a PvP team, but does great in almost any PvE setting.

A pick 3 team I’ve found to be very effective is Ic5man, Kang and Dr. Thor. Once you get a small amount of blue iceman lays out lots of blue countdown tiles. Kang prevents the blue drain and Dr. Thor then blows up with her passive. Each tile destroyed this way means Kang gives you two more blue AP, meaning you can then spam Jane’s blue repeatedly for lots of board shake and stacks of stun.
Once you’ve generated some purple ap from random cascades and you’re done with the stacks of stun fun, fire off Kangs purple power as many times as needed for MASSIVE nuke damage. (~43K if only 4 5 turn countdowns exist on the board, which is quite common)8 -
This event I use The Hulk, Rescue and Black Panther or Bearded Cap. Use Yaro root support on eg. Rescue to have the chance of 5 green AP at start. Rainbow colors and as soon as you have 8 green, you are soon able to Smash at least one time.

Domino as a 3rd might be the best play here. Thanks.

Maybe an older team, and kind of obvious, but I'm also really vibing with 5 star Panther with Ghost and Invisibile Woman. Like I said, kind of old school and obvious. Throw Yellow or Purple, drop that black then red to insta KO someone, but also Ghost's match damage goes well with Panther's active. Not as quick and clean a team as Panther/Clea/Domino, but still fun.
PS: Other fun combos here
Panther/Emm4/Domino
Panther/5Witch/ Gladiator Thor
Panther/Banner/any Emma4 -
You want a weird team that does something really cool and niche?
Morbius / Gargantos / C4rnage
Carnage makes only 78 strength enemy attack tiles, Morbius can reduce their strenght with Purple, and Gargantos knocks them off the board with Black. Don't get me wrong, those tiles will disappear quickly from Morbius anyway, but there will be plenty where they came from. Downside, Morbius' traps have to be matched by the enemy so there's that working against it too.
Y'all should play test this for me though, my Gargantos is a sad 0/1/0. Is there better choices to drop tile strength for Gargantos to nuke away? His black is fun, and I swear there's a great synergy for this somewhere.

Wow, this team will punish the enemy and keep them in lock down so many ways, give this a try to see the enemy struggle WITHOUT using Chasm:
Clea / Emm4 / Shuri
The enemy will be crying and you'll have so much fun with your fortified **** on the field. This also legitimizes Emma's Black, seriously.
Boosted or not, I will be using this team against the next Boss event, Emma alone could powerlock solo bosses, combined with Clea's shutdown, they'll helplessly take damage while I pump out the Fortified SAP's.

5* Black Panther 5/4/4
4* Northstar 5/5/3
5* Magneto 5/3/5Northstar remains BP’s best partner after 5* Thanos. His ability to put black and yellow on the field, get +2 AP for each black/yellow/blue tile destroyed (fire his blue) and turn BP invisible for 1 turn for 3 turns….. it’s like he was made to team up with BP.
But I used to team those 2 up with Hulkling who was a 4* and while he had great synergy with them and completed the rainbow, he was still a 4* and quite fragile.
Enter Magneto.
His blue just annihilates the field of 2 colors and I usually choose green/purple. It also makes a bunch of TUP fall along with the resulting cascades. Sending him airborne, when he pops created tiles while BP’s Panther Pret CD is on the board, gives those pops a much needed damage boost.

Just Black Panther and Northstar together have such awesome synergy that I'd give you an award for showing me, but then 5 star Magneto here too? Wow. Really good. 5/5 recommend.

In Most Wanted PvP:
3* Rocket and Groot
3* Loki (boosted)
4* Sam WilsonI'd been using Sam with Knull, which is also a fun combination - Sam's blue passive buffing SAPs and speeding up Knull's countdown. Knull was injured so I was looking for another character with purple and black actives to go in his place. I noticed that Loki was boosted so figured I might as well try him out. I was up against R&G, BRB and Polaris and immediately thought this was a terrible idea and I wouldn't stand a chance. Fortunately, the game put out many match 4s. Some I went for and some the enemy went for, putting out Loki's countdowns, which Sam helped along each time a blue match came up. Sam put down some protects, which Polaris naturally used against me before then stunning R&G and putting out some strikes. Fortunately by this point I had enough black for Loki to do some trickery and from there it didn't take very long at all to take them all down.

My favorite new combo is a little basic and won't work anywhere near as well without a boosted Deathlok, but pairing him with 4Riri and 4Wasp was a lot of fun. 3 blue and red a turn, pretty much always ensuring you have the blue to spawn Wasp's AP stealing tiles - which do good damage if the enemy actually matches them - and give her black its stun factor. Repeatedly hit with Riri's red on the off targets while you build focus on the primary, and the boosted blhe on Deathlok was like 20k so teams melted fast. With out the boost using Riri's blue to build more red may be more viable. In any case Wasp also provides strike and protect tiles cheaply giving yellow a use, and Riri can toss enemies airborn with green, so the only wasted color is purple. Its a fun 4* team. You can also swap in MODOK for fun - especially since he's boosted right now - and quickly build the ap to be able to cast and pop multiple of his blue CDs in one turn while burning through his red's stages to get to that high damage final stage in record time. And of course tanking a fight out til you hit 27 blue with Kang still acts as a viable option for many of the most lethal nodes though IM40 may be more useful as a 3rd there. Long story short, Deathlok has made the biggest meta shift in 4* land since Polaris.

Bro yall gotta try 5Storm/5Magneto/5ProfessorX, they are absolute BOARD GODS, constantly feeding off each other, getting 20+AP from cascades, and a full rainbow team, so no colors wasted! I dont even have Mags champed yet (he's 4/4/3), and they wreaked the chanllenge node with ease. Thanks for the recommendation. This team was fun! Amazing amounts of AP generation.

My current quest is a team for Namora. Namora's imo main problem is that she's a red/purple character who wants a partner that makes her blue tiles and any character that makes blue tiles does so on purple (and not cheaply).
5/3/5 Namora + 5/3/5 Quake + Vulture
I found Quake, who actually pairs really well with Namora. Her blue drains a color from the board (I usually go after yellow, which is useless in this team), which enriches all other colors and by extension always seems to lead to a board with a good amount of blue. This helps Namora's abilities to hit harder. And Quake's green reshuffles the board, which helps to reshuffle Namora's trap tiles to a better position.
The team wants blue for Quake without matching blue tiles and is also missing an active black, so can't go wrong with Vulture as a third.
